An ACE score is a tally of different types of abuse, neglect, and other hallmarks of a rough childhood. Adverse childhood experiences, or ACEs, are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood (0-17 years). ACEs can have lasting, negative effects on health, well-being, and opportunity. Listen as we talk, how the black community is at high risk for ACEs what are some of the interventions and how the mental health field is pushing toward prevention of ACEs all together.
