Music in Cinema is a new podcast that explores songs and scores used in cinema. Each episode features a special guest and an in-detail discussion on 7 tracks and films.
For our first episode, host Carlos Alan Eperon has invited Sven Peetoom, an Indonesian-Dutch film director and screenwriter whose work we have been following over recent years. Sven put forward an eclectic selection; from a Nu jazz score in The Cinematic Orchestra’s version of Man with a Movie Camera, to the classic Eurodance track Think About the Way featured in Trainspotting, through Beethoven’s 7th Symphony used in the closing scene of Irreversible.
