It's been a long off season, but the guys are back behind the mics ready to talk up a new season of the NHL and the Predators. The Preds traded P.K. Subban off to the Devils and picked up Matt Duchene. He's already made an impact and given the Preds two deadly top lines. The power play seems to be doing MUCH better as well. However, will it be enough for them to burst back into the postseason and win the Stanley Cup?
Also, that third pairing...yikes. Get them some help. Pronto!

The Trade Deadline has come and gone! Did your team make a move or stand pat yesterday? The guys sit down and talk some of the biggest trades which took place on #NHLTradeDeadline day including Columbus going all in, Mark Stone off to Vegas, the Jets getting Hayes, the Preds picking up Granlund for Fiala and Wayne Simmonds for Hartman and a pick, and more. Now it's a race to the playoffs!

We are THIS CLOSE to regular season hockey and we are pumped! As we wait for opening night in Smashville, we talk about some league news. Specifically, Erik Karlsson is finally out of Ottawa...all the way to the golden coast of California and now in a Sharks jersey.
Also, the Senators are up in flames and we can see the smoke from here. We also talk about who had the best off-season acquisition, (If you say anyone other than Tavares...WRONG) and touch on the Preds preseason games.
Finally, we discuss the impact of Tolvanen, Forsberg, and discuss a certain luchador who might be making a run at the in arena host now that Maverick has abdicated. We're almost there guys! Next time you hear, it will be PREDS REGULAR SEASON HOCKEY!

The Preds played a shorter schedule thanks to Bridgestone arena being flooded by a major downtown water leak. Despite less games, we finally seem to be seeing some consistently. Defense lines are good, goalkeeping is good, and scoring is being spread out amongst all the forward lines, and we talk about the possibility of seeing Eeli Tolvanen (RIP) and Dante Fabbro being trade targets.
