Following DC's New 52 came Rebirth, which meant there was no better time to start pumping out new number ones for every character and team. Among this new change up of writers, Tom King was handed the reins to Batman, one of DC's flagship characters. This seemed a wise choice as he was an up and coming writer who was gaining a pretty big following over the last couple years. Now Tom King's time on Batman has come to an end and there is a large divide in the reception of this entire volume. Between the fans of Batman, Tom King, and comics in general a controversial question seems to be buzzing around the internet: Was Tom King's run on Batman good?
