Our Christmas series continues as we welcome good friend Mitch Ralston to watch the Dolly Parton classic A Smokey Mountain Christmas. Dolly plays a Country star escaping to the Smokies to spend Christmas with nothing but her guitar and some squirrel stew but a ragtag group of squatting orphans, the horny local sheriff and a mountain witch have other plans. Along the way Dolly runs afoul of Lee Majors doing his best Grizzly Adams impression and there's even a last-minute cameo from the late great John Ritter. Sadly, Dolly's final showdown with Witchy Woman Jezebel doesn't include lightning bolts from Dolly's acrylics, but it's satisfying nonetheless.

Sorority girls get hassled with obscene phone calls and start dropping like flies. Jess (Olivia Hussey) has problems of her own - her high strung boyfriend Peter (Keir Dullea) at the top of the list. Horny Barb (Margot Kidder) and mousy Phyl (Andrea Martin) round out the sorority sisters under the care of boozy house mother Mrs. Mac (Marian Waldman). We talk 70’s fashion, the beginnings of the slasher film genre and get some serious insider tea on The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula (now streaming on Netflix!).

We made it through a whole season of gay as hell movies and our finale is a doozy! We’re joined by the very funny Braden Davis so watch the 1980 classic Blue Lagoon. You guys, this movie is bananas! If you’re not familiar with this movie - I’ll sum it up in 2 words: Full. Frontal. Two beautiful teens are marooned on a tropical island and much male nudity ensues. We tell tales of watching this movie as kids surrounded by our family and definitely feeling some type of way. Brooke Shields is lovely as always but Christopher Atkins - no words.
