Mostly Harmless With Dammit Damian - Punk Rock Podcast

Back in 2005, I published the first official issue of Mostly Harmless Magazine. Now its back in podcast form. To celebrate the transition from the dead into a podcast, we're posting a series of "Flashback" Episodes! These flashbacks are interviews from the former incarnations of Mostly Harmless, many of which were never meant to be heard by the listening public.

This second flashback episode features two interviews with RISE AGAINST. A blast from their past to be sure. The first interview takes place in September of 2001 in Boulder, Colorado while the band is on their first national tour for "The Unraveling," the band's first album.

The second interview with Joe and Tim from Rise Against takes us to the basement of the now defucnt 32 Bleu in Colorado Springs. That very day in 2003, their second album "Revelations Per Minute" hit the store shelves and forever found a place in my heart and in my pants.

Hello Friends! We join our new friends, THE DROWNING MEN in the parking lot of the Black Sheep in Colorado Springs, CO. I make friends with the boys and we talk mostly about their origin story. How most of them became friends at such a young age and the things that shaped their lives into the men and musicians they have become. We also talk about their connection to Flogging Molly and how they have become the first band signed to Flogging Molly's new record label, Borstal Beat Records, what it was like to open up for them night after night, and their new records, "ALL OF THE UNKNOWN."

We join Red Fang on the patio of The Larimer Lounge in Denver, Colorado before their sold out show. We talk a little bit about everything, but with focus on their current success and how it might all suddenly just fade away. We also talk Europe, the constant touring, and their current plans for their future and new album!
