Influxes Perniciosius

Bill and Linda loved their news. They ate, drank, and breathed it. However, a vacation, uncharged cellphones, a faulty car radio, and a flat tire leads them to an unplanned stop in a small town, not found on any maps called New Roanoke. Helpful residents and a spirit of collaboration immediately attract Bill and Linda to this quaint little town but will it remain that way, not if the Influxes Perniciosius have any say in the matter.
