Micaela Angela is an Inspirational Fashion Designer turned Emotional Intelligence Coach and she is the Regional Director of the Global Woman Club Los Angeles.

She was born in Florence (Italy) to an Italian father and a mother from the US, studied in San Francisco and eventually ended up in LA without leaving her roots in Italy. She is currently renovating her apartments in Florence in order to be able to enjoy the best of both world. Micaela loves "Club hopping" which means, attending Global Woman Club events all over the globe and networking with women and sharing positivity and inspiration.

Harry Mitsidis - one of the world's biggest travellers

Harry Mitsidis achieved his aim of visiting every country in the world, as defined by the United Nations, by the age of 36, with his last country being Equatorial Guinea. In the meantime, he is 6 countries short to having visited every country in the world twice.

Harry Mitsidis was born in 1972 in London, U.K. to a Greek father and a South African mother. He took an early interest in aviation and film, but studied sociology in Greece and at the University of Oxford. After working as a lecturer in sociology and business in four countries, he decided that exploring the world was by far a better undertaking.

He is the founder of NomadMania which is one of the leading websites in the world of systematic travel. Its members include many of the generally recognized biggest travelers in the world. The project proposes a division of the world into 1301 regions based on a country’s size, population, cultural importance and cultural diversity, economic strength and international tourist arrivals.

The Pageturners - A group of fun women and a pile of books

These 5 amazing ladies met each other because they are all members of the Global Woman Club, a women empowerment platform which aims to unite professional women around the world, regardless of their age, culture or race. To encourage them to stand in their power, invest in themselves and grow their skills and abilities by learning, and leadership development.

The idea was initiated by Maggie McLaren who lives in Scotland, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who loves to read and write herself and has published some books herself. She got in touch with Sora Vernikoff, the author of the book: Eat what you want, stop when you want, Anna-Maria Athansiou, the author of SEVEN romantic novels, Anna Nicolaides, a barrister, philanthropist and avid reader and Rebecca Christodoulides, a nutrition and lifestyle coach and they all decided to create a virtual book club and meet regularly online to discuss the books they read. A beautiful friendship was created even though they only knew each other online.

In November 2022, they all got together in Limassol, Cyprus and the rest is history.
