S3 - EP13: Morning Infusion: Suicide: When It Hits Your Family - Dr. Viola Pierce with Jacqueline Moss

My name is Jacqueline Moss. I am the Founder, Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Uniquely U Health & Wellness. I was born in Bertie County but currently reside in Granville County. I began my nursing career as a CNA, Medical Assistant, LPN, and R.N. Four years ago, I returned to school to earn my BSN, and after pursuing my BSN, I pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in nurse education.

I have over 20 years of nursing experience. My nursing experience has ranged from working in a Nursing Home, ICU, L&D, Staff Development Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Supervisor, Med Surg, Home Health, and Behavioral Health.

My major achievements outside my family have been graduating with my BSN and MSN with distinction, receiving Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and becoming a Medication Aid instructor certified by N.C. BON, I recently became a BLS instructor, being a V.P. nursing student, and started my business, Uniquely U Health & Wellness. There are several reasons why I wanted to start my business, wanting to work for myself and spend more time with my family, wanting to help women that are battling issues with their weight, wanting to be of some help to the growing community, I want to help people that are suffering from mental illness and donate to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
