Morning Faith

Send us a text

John 1: 36-39

After Jesus was baptized by John, He asked his followers this question. "What do you seek?" They answered, "where do you dwell?" Jesus replied, "COME and SEE." Andrew tells his brother Simon, "We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted the Christ."

Everyone is searching for something. I believe Jesus asked us this same question, "What do you seek?"...We attend church services, Bible studies, small groups and religious programs, but my question for us today, "What are you seeking" Do you seek to know the place where Jesus dwells? As the disciples sought to know His dwelling place, Jesus says, "come and see" When you seek His dwelling, do you long to see? And in your seeking, have you found the Messiah, who is the Christ? Simon encountered Jesus, and Jesus changed his name to Cephas, which is by interpretation; A stone. The following day, Jesus finds Philip and says, "Follow me" Philip finds Nathanael, and says, "we have found Him, the One, of whom Moses in the law and the prophets did write of Nazareth. Nathanael said, "can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?"...Philip says, "COME and SEE!" After Nathanael's encounter with Jesus, He says, "Rabbi, Thou art the Son of God; Thou art the King of Israel"... Jesus said, "you believe because I said I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things then these." Jesus said unto them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man... amen, and amen!

Today; are you seeking the place Jesus dwells? Have you found the Messiah? If so, are you following Him? Have you received the revelation; Jesus is the Son of God, the King of Israel? I say, "COME and SEE greater things! COME and SEE heaven open! Amen!

316 Ministry - Morning Faith - Trust Issues

Proverbs 3:5 NIV

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;"

Many of us have trust issues. Whether it be that someone has hurt us in a bad relationship, someone has taken something from us, or we have been lied to, leaving us feeling betrayed, abandoned, or manipulated. This causes us to doubt if we can ever trust anyone again. Of course we keep trying because we think that we understand what happened and this time it will be different, only to be let down again and again.

Jesus has told us in the scripture that we should love one another. Much of trust is built on faith. If your faith is of worldly things, so will your trust be. If your faith is of Heavenly things, so should your trust be. Know that a person is not justified by the works of the law of people, but by faith in Jesus Christ.

This message teaches us that if you place your trust in Jesus first, by asking for his spiritual guidance, and truly listening for the answer even if it is not what you want to believe, trust in worldly things becomes much easier. Don’t just change your direction in faith, be true to yourself when you get the answer you seek. He is Lord of all and can be trusted with everything, no matter how small it is.

316 Ministry - Morning Faith - Believe and Hear

Send us a text

And the people BELIEVED: and when they HEARD that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and that He had looked upon their affliction, then they BOWED their heads and WORSHIPPED. (Exodus 4:31)

The problem today is that God’s people are not believing, they are not hearing, therefore they are not bowing down their heads to worship.

Worship: We must first believe, We must hear. Hear what? The LORD has visited his people, and that He has looked upon our affliction. Then, then, the people of God bowed their heads and worshipped.

O earth, earth, earth, hear the Word of the LORD. The Dayspring from on high has visited us, to give knowledge of Salvation, the remission of our sins, and to give light to us who sit in darkness, and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. (Luke 1:77-79 & Jeremiah 22:29)

The LORD said: “ I have seen, I have heard, and I know, and I have come down to deliver them out of bondage. (Exodus 3) To forgive us and free us from the law of sin and death, to bring us out of the kingdom of darkness, to bring us into His kingdom, unto the place He has prepared for us to serve Him, to worship Him, and then He said, Come now, and I will send you!

Are you as a child of the Most High God, ready to believe? Are you ready to hear? And after believing, and hearing, are you ready to bow your head and worship Him who lives forever?
