Kevin and I had a great conversation that I am sharing with you today. Time went by too quickly as we talked about the importance of hyper-seeing potential in others. Also, from his own story, Kevin shared the power of conferring names on the people we influence. Cricket worked for the Francis Asbury Society as an assistant to Dennis Kinlaw for 18 years,
helping him put together and publish several books of his writings and sermons, This Day with
the Master, Prayer: Bearing the World, Malchus’ Ear and Other Sermons, and Holy Happiness.
She is the author of Passing on the Passion: Raising the Next Generation to Love God. Cricket

Today’s podcast is a sermon I preached called ‘On Dead Ends’ and is based on Exodus 13:19. This passage comes as the Israelites come to the dead end of the Red Sea. I was interested to read the detail that Joseph’s bones were brought with the Israelites as they made this journey. This sermon challenges us to consider where God is when we face life’s dead ends.
