About Chriselda Pacheco:
Chriselda Pacheco is a photographer, writer, public speaker, storyteller, retired award-winning community organizer, multimedia producer, and performer. She uses her camera lens, the written word, social media journalism, performance art, and esoteric spirituality to explore the raw spots of our culture and the human condition, asking the tough questions and looking for the truth, beauty, and dignity hidden within some of our society’s most gritty realities – from the orphanages in Haiti to the locker rooms of the sex industry, and last but not least - within ourselves.
Both participant and observer, Chriselda's deep well of knowing is an inner alchemical result of street knowledge, direct experience on the margins, an interdisciplinary academic prowess, and worldly wisdom. She was ordained and Consecrated a Gnostic Priestess in 2014 at The Ancient Spanish Monastery, holds a bachelor’s degree in English & Journalism, and speaks English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. She was raised by her WWII grandparents on the west side of San Antonio, Texas.
