#55: The Bioethical and Medical Risks of Big Fertility: Surrogacy, IVF, and Sperm Donation with Jennifer Lahl
02/21/25 • 69 min
Today’s guest, Jennifer Lahl, is the founder of The Center for Bioethics and Culture Network. Lahl couples her 25 years of experience as a pediatric critical care nurse, a hospital administrator, and a senior-level nursing manager with a deep passion to speak up for those who have no voice.
Women are often sold on surrogacy, IVF, and sperm donation as either a beautiful way to help a family in need or the best solution to their fertility issues. The problems with the solutions Big Fertility pushes extend beyond a lack of informed consent; there are not only significant medical risks for moms and their future children (which are often downplayed or not mentioned at all) as well as bioethical concerns which many have never even considered until well after consenting to one of these reproduction methods.
If we continue on this transhumanist trajectory, we can expect so see the normalization and encouragement of artificial eggs and wombs.
On the bright side, the tides are turning. Countries are waking up to the harms of some of these practices and setting firm boundaries to protect women and children. Some countries, like America, unfortunately still operate like the Wild West and put the wellbeing of mothers and children last at the expense of the desires of intended parents. Thanks to spreading awareness, women are realizing they have other, more biologically-supportive and ethical options when it comes to starting a family.

#54: What The “Experts” Won’t Tell You About Vaccines and Natural Immunity with Toxicologist Ashley Everly
Mom of two (including one who experienced a vaccine injury), toxicologist, and creator of the *must read*, comprehensive Vaccine Guide drops some jaw-dropping bombshells that will make you think twice about the safety, efficacy, ethics, and necessity of these routine shots.
We talk about the tragic human sacrifices who were callously exploited for the sake of growing viruses in aborted fetal cells. The ingredients in vaccines will make your stomach churn— and no, we’re not just talking about the well-known and widely discussed neurotoxic aluminum.
We also discuss the superiority of natural immunity verses artificial immunity via vaccination and the longterm benefit of allowing our bodies to encounter sickness in the wild without synthetic interference. Specifically, we learn about which cancers you are at a lesser risk of having as a result of acquiring natural immunity from certain "vaccine preventable" illnesses.
You’ll hear us talk about the role breastmilk antibodies play from the start of life as well as the importance of honoring the divine order of growth from a spiritual standpoint.
Despite the benefits we acknowledge that homeopathy provides, we talk about why we are against homeoprophylaxis as a “safer” alternative to vaccines. We also learn why vitamin D supplementation is not only pointless but also to some degree harmful.
This conversation is sure to make your head spin in the best way!

#56: Can You Be Friends if You Don’t Share The Same Values or Beliefs?
Back in our original fashion exchanging our uncensored opinions between just the two of us, we examine whether it is possible to maintain friendships with people who see the world through a different lens.
We analyze when it is possible and even encouraged to maintain friendships with people who have opposing viewpoints versus when this feat proves to be a fruitless effort.
We share personal anecdotes which illustrate when our differences with others have brought us closer together and when these fundamental differences have driven us farther apart, and if that means the end of the friendship for good.
We philosophize about the impact topics like politics and medical freedom have over our friendships and whether it matters if your closest friends are virtual or in person.
In an age of dogma and division, we emphasize the lost art of toeing the line of nuance.
Join us for more of these dicussions on the inside of our virtual community, rebelliUS.
