04- The Million Dollar Question (Orrin & Orson West)

Orrin and Orson West were taken from their birth parent's after what seemed to be an accidental injury to one of the boys legs. They were both placed into the foster care system, and they were both able to be placed within the same home. The home of Trezel and Jacqueline West, who already had 4 other kids living in their home, two of which were adopted and two of which were their own biological children. When the West family moved from their small apartment in Bakersfield, CA to a home that the couple purchased in California City, CA things seemed to be going fine until December 21st 2020 when a 911 call was placed from the Wests' home reporting that Orrin and Orson West were both missing from their own fenced in back yard. As search teams scoured the area and volunteers came out by the dozens; things just didn't seem to be adding up to the FBI, the California City Police, and the Bakersfield Police. Once all of those alarming puzzle pieces were finally able to be put together it started to paint a terrifying picture of what could have happened to 3 and 4 year old Orrin and Orson West at the hands of their adoptive parents.
