Jean "19 in Poland" Smart
Miss Thing with Greg Trimmer & Tim Zientek
04/01/25 • 48 min
Call Me Izzy, Inertias (just don’t call us Hacks)! Now get ready to be taken to Babylon and back because we’re celebrating a TV legend so big, it’s gonna take you a full season of 24 to recover. This soon-to-be back on broadway icon is a multiple Emmy award winning actress, an Easttown resident who doesn’t miss, and an iconic scene stealer from Watchmen and Designing Women — JEAN SMART! In this ep, Greg looks back on the time he told a joke so well that it literally caused a car accident while Tim recalls the time he turned a hateful Hollywood situation around with a tiny piece of kale. Other highlights include: Greg getting possessed by J.Lo, Tim celebrating his 19th birthday in Poland, skin to skin contact with a hedgehog, and an educational lesson on the 1918 bird flu. They also discuss the throuple the world needs, Rosie O’Donnell’s talk show, Julia Roberts’ armpit hair, the price of eggs, and the original porn — JCPenney underwear ads. They then ask the terrifying questions others won’t, like, “Is The Pitt a real show?” And “What are the four quadrants?” So Gennifer Zs, hop in Mary’s Miata, slip into your wedgiest thong, and let your ears take you on a little Snow Day away from your problems. And OshKosh B’Gosh, will someone tell us *officially* if Jennifer Aniston and Barack Obama are dating already?! BONK!

Kristin "Shyamalanomenon" Chenoweth (w/ Eric Williams)
Miss Thing with Greg Trimmer & Tim Zientek
11/12/24 • 51 min
Inertias, get ready for our most Popular episode yet because we’re making Miss Thing herstory this week with our VERY first guest! Today our good Judy, Eric Williams, the incredibly talented and funny host of “That’s A Gay Ass Podcast” joins us to honor one of the biggest broadway legends of all time. She’s an Emmy and Tony award winning star of stage and screen, the funniest soprano out there, a Good Christian Bitch, and the OG Glinda herself — KRISTIN CHENOWETH! In this ep, Greg recalls serving child-actor-from-Temu vibes when he got cast in the titular role of “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” while Tim and Eric both remember horrible times they had with vocal teachers. In Eric’s case, it led to a very uncomfortable conversation with his mom while Tim’s experience led to him accidentally sabotaging a man’s career. The boys also gossip about Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster’s budding relationship, talk Shawn Mendes’ sexuality clapback, discuss the f*ckability of men dressing like Casey Becker for Halloween, and drool over the heartthrob renaissance trifecta of Adam Brody, Josh Hartnett and Joshua Jackson. They also guess what Kristin’s cameo will be in the Wicked film and play their toughest game yet, “Playbill or Play with Bill.” So Gennifer Zs, Push all those Daisies in your hand straight into the air and wave them around like a wand as you listen to the most iconic threesome you’ve ever heard. Oh, and then treat yourself to the latest self-help book from The Berenstain Bears... You’re welcome! BONK!

Sarah Michelle "Weekend Buttdate" Gellar
Miss Thing with Greg Trimmer & Tim Zientek
11/05/24 • 51 min
Inertias, you’re about to SCREAM (2) because the talent of this famous three-name TV legend is so insane, it could turn your Intentions Cruel. She’s a Simply Irresistible comedic and dramatic actress, every gay guys’ wishlist beard, an action hero, a horror icon, the world’s most famous vampire slayer, and Tim’s ultimate Miss Thing of Miss Things — SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR! In this ep, Tim recalls the time he became the king of his high school only to make a decision so quizzical that it kneecapped his popularity and left everyone calling him “The Grudge Boy” while Greg recounts a series of events that ultimately led to him being backstage at “Waitress” with Sarah Michelle herself! Other highlights include: Greg winning halloween, Tim earning his cohost’s pride with the publishing of his New Yorker article, Greg’s good luck (babe) run, and Tim’s experience in an S&M chat room. They also discuss the wise words of a hot yoga teacher, gaybaiting, rage content, blumpkins, and the pharmaceutical company Tim’s family should own. On top of that, the boys ask important questions like “Is there anything sexier than your boyfriend fixing the toilet?”, “Does the StairMaster make your butt smaller or bigger?”, and “Who is every little gay boy’s beard in 2024?” So Gennifer Zs, put on your cross necklaces and remember to bless God for the broken road that led you straight to Miss Thing. Also never forget to eat good fats and the stronger your legs, the longer you’ll live! BONK!

Blair "Glug Glug Glug" Witch
Miss Thing with Greg Trimmer & Tim Zientek
10/29/24 • 46 min
Trick or Treat Inertias and welcome to our Halloween Spooktacular! Or as Greg would call it, “Ryan Murphy Pee-sents Gregtesquerie!” This week, we celebrate someone whose impact is so large, she literally invented the found footage genre. Not only is she the most famous project out there, but she’s also the most famous witch (not counting any witch played by our BFF Cynthia Erivo). Yes that’s right, our Miss Thing this week is the queen of guerilla marketing and the girl everyone wants a glimpse of — BLAIR WITCH! In this ep, Tim recalls the bumpy experience he had watching Little Miss Blair which quickly turned into a real life, week-long nightmare for his family while Greg harkens back to a day that he chose chaos by pulling a prank so massive that some of his friends ended up never talking to him again. The boys also talk hippity-hops, Chainfest, the wrestling federation formerly known as WWF, Tom Cruise’s coconut cake, and Tim’s pumpkin-themed outfit. Other highlights include: celebrating Greg’s 11/12ths birthday, Tim’s wonderful experience with the working women of the Getty, cruising around in a Waymo (Waymo sponsor us!), the pronunciation of “Oregon,” and longing for Van Gogh’s extreme overexposure. They also play the new hit game, “Babadook or Babadon’t” and do a Tyra Banks-inspired interview to grill the Blair Witch herself. So Gennifer Zs, stop what you’re doing and get ready to go on a Spoooookiecrisp (TM) trip into the woods where you will never be the same! BOO!! And also BONK!!

Kacey "Morning Dew" Musgraves
Miss Thing with Greg Trimmer & Tim Zientek
10/22/24 • 47 min
Gennifer Zs, after hearing this episode, you’d be more than just a little Justified if you had Butterflies in your stomach from feeling like you were floating on a Rainbow. Well hold onto your neon cowboy hats and get ready for an experience that’s anything but Too Good To Be True, because our Miss Thing this week is none other than queer icon, incredible lyricist, and quintessential queen of vibes — KACEY MUSGRAVES! In this NOT Slow Burn of an ep, Tim looks back on the time he was staying on an estancia in Uruguay and almost caused a sweet Irish woman to be trampled to death by a horse while Greg opens up about the bowl of Cheerios that started a war between him and his sister. The boys also talk about the magical qualities of a squeegee, do a Capri Sun taste test (sponsor us already!), and question if Trace Adkins is a country star or a diet. They also get into the clownery of Joker: Folie a Deux, react to the pod getting banned in unexpected places for “sexual content,” and Tim may or may not mimic Greg for a biiit too long. Now hurry up, it’s almost Golden Hour, so listen to this ep before you have yourself a Lonely Weekend. And most importantly, no matter what you do Inertias, do NOT fly with a *certain nameless Irish Airline* as they are now our mortal enemies. BONK!

In this ep, Greg looks back on a spooky Montauk trip that quickly made him go all “The Shining” while Tim recalls the time he went on a 12 minute date that included tears, fries, and the funniest paragraph someone has ever written. The boys also talk Katy Perry in space, topless maids, the ending of Annihilation, the “Let Them” movement, surprise parties, bossy bottoms, and top privilege. They then explore their new loving relationship with an AI bot, discuss the "bitch move” made by the composer of The White Lotus, and daydream about being gays that are on vacation for 11 months a year. So Inertias, let us take you away with a dreamy episode that’ll make you think you’re on Nantucket and will definitely leave you feeling Next to Normal. Kate “Heaven & Mountains” Hudson
Miss Thing with Greg Trimmer & Tim Zientek
03/04/25 • 51 min
Gennifertias and women of New York, frost yourselves! After that, hop on over to California, where we’re “Running Point” on a radiant nepo-baby-gone-right who can do it all! Our Miss Thing this week is a romcom goddess, a vodka business queen, a person you hope invites you to her house party, and author of the famous article “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” — KATE HUDSON!! In this ep, Greg looks back on the time he endured Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events and hula hooped for his life backstage at Camp Flog Gnaw while Tim remembers the time he sat his father down to have “the coming out talk” (and no not the talk you’re thinking of, Inertias). Other highlights include: Greg fixing the format of The Traitors, Tim cops to aggravating Greg all week, Greg trying out a new accent, Tim taking Greg to court over the She-E-O title, Greg admitting he’s no Natasha Lyonne, Tim becoming a boy scout in 2025, and the boys go in once again on all the shocking things Demi Moore has been through. They also talk “gay for the stay,” the movie that gooped and gagged Tim the most, AI brain, Mackenzie Phillips, Nickelodeon’s orange VHS tapes, and they take time to think about their favorite female roofer. Essential Qs are asked, like, “Why is ‘heaven and mountains’ not a phrase?” and “Why aren’t the contestants of ‘Celebrity Mole’ on this season of The Traitors?” They also take a moment to remember the early 2000s show-saver and the woman who raised so many of us, Michelle Trachtenberg. So Gennifer Zs, put on your sunnies and start investing in a journal cause you’re about to go on a journey that will leave you feeling Almost Famous. Oh, and Danielle, you should be ashamed of yourself. BONK!

Doechii “Molotov Cocktail”
Miss Thing with Greg Trimmer & Tim Zientek
03/18/25 • 52 min
Swamp! Snap out of that Denial and put your Anxiety on pause ‘cause we’re celebrating a Miss Thing this week who quite literally *IS* the moment. She’s a YouTube queen who’s literally on every song right now, the reigning Grammy winner for Best Rap Album, one of the most exciting live performers on the scene, the reminder that Alligator Bites Never Heal, and the woman with the ultimate Alter Ego — DOECHII! In this ep, Greg looks back on the time he was ghosted by a therapist, while Tim recalls the time a serial arsonist threw two Molotov cocktails in his parking garage and set his apartment on fire. Other highlights include: enemas at the Las Vegas Sphere, trying to understand how DJs work, Ritalin, one of the most embarrassing way you can be found in bed, and needing more lesbian friends. They also talk Kenny Chesney, the hot honey rag, the brand “Faherty” (sponsor us!), Trading Spaces fails, their adult sleepover, and announce their new line of digital smoke detectors. They then ask the most important Qs they’ve ever asked, “Does Rascal Flatts still practice?”, ”What does Renee Zellweger’s house look like?”, and “Am I gonna burn? Or am I gonna be gassed silently to death?” So Gennifer Zs, rip off that T-shirt over your eyes and let us take you on an audio journey in a Nissan Altima to the 8th wonder of the world (Tim’s old apt). But just don’t travel on the day after New Year’s Day night as your jilted lover could come after you then! Oh, and never ever forget that Friday is the day before February. BONK!!
