Perry has been tracking the flows and experiences of internally displaced persons in Sudan and outlines the realities for people fleeing conflict, the impact it's had on people, places and the economy and the vast scale of the task ahead to provide humanitarian aid and support.


NB: Correction: Approximately 170,000 displaced households, not individuals, were reportedly sheltering in schools and other public buildings.
