Gen X grew up with the War on Drugs messaging, so when CBD came onto the scene, we had lots of questions. We found an expert in Phillipa Burgess and got some clarification on CBD/THC/Cannabis. She shares what CBD is and is not, and how this industry is about way more than getting high. Send us your feedback at: [email protected]

We met Brooke in a Clubhouse room and felt an instant connection. She co-hosts the HERSPECTIVE podcast, HER views, HER story, HERspective , be HER.....be HEARD, and is all about women finding their voice. We wanted to hear about the issues that we discuss from a different cultural perspective and Brooke was open to that discussion. So we went all-in on menstruation, menopause, and other women's issues to see if there were differences in how those are discussed among whites and people of color. We had a great time with Brooke and with Juneteenth coming up, this was the perfect time to release this fun and informative episode.

Starting over in Midlife can be tough, or it can be a chance to live out your dreams. After her divorce, "Kate Somerset" returned to a place that she had visited and fallen in love with and started over. Staring over included dating, and she went the online route. Her book, "Mom, You Just Need to Get Laid" is a lighthearted look at one woman's true midlife dating adventures. It's a fun read and inspires us to remember that we are still amazing at any age.

The assets for this episode contain an avatar for our guest, as "Kate Somerset" is a pen name and her real identity has yet to be revealed. Oh, she's real, we've seen her, but even we don't know her real name.

Knowing yourself and others better can help you to avoid and resolve conflict, as well as build deeper relationships. The enneagram is a great tool for doing that work, and midlife is a great time for the work.

Today we talk with Certified Enneagram Expert & Coach Jenn Whitmer, and she walks us through what the enneagram is, what the types are, and how we can grow using this tool.
