The Game Show: Great Games of 2021
Middle Aged Gaming 2020's the Game Show: Great Games of 2021
Ah the future, such promise, such possibilty, such... playtime... Will a year be enough to cover all the great games on the Horizon (pun intended)? Only time will tell, but for now, Crian and Adam have a few suggestions to keep your eye on.
Crian's Picks
Groundhog's Day is such a great movie, yeah? But why watch when you can play? Deathloop will see you reliving the same day as an assassin at a... party? Can you break the loop? What could possibly go wrong?
Did we just give an entire description using only questions?
Batman is "dead" and it's up to the bat family to fill his cowl. Play as Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red hood to sweep the streets of Gotham clean and free it from the influence of the Court of Owls. Better yet, grab a friend and do it together as your own dynamic duo, trio, or quartet.
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war. And you're going to be the one waging it. Play as one of four members of a ragtag mercenary team as you fight your way through waves upon waves of enemies with up to three friends.
If you enjoy 40K or Vermintide, this'll be right up your alley.
Adam's Picks
Following up one of the most popular games on the PS5, Horizon Forbidden West see's Aloy continue her journey to finding and end to the Faro plague, all while making new friends, and enemies, along the way. With new machines to face off against and new lands to explore, this is likely already Adam's GotY... and the year hasn't even started yet.
Less is more in this minimalistic, roguelike, open world, exploration game. With basic survival elements, this game is designed to feel like one big safari. Watch your character carefully though. With its minimalist design come the lack of a UI. You'll need to read your character's body language to know how they're doing, so keep a good eye on them, and this game.
Who hasn't dreamed of being a cat, sneaking through narrow alleys jumping from rooftop to rooftop. Well now you can live that dream... in a robot infested, post apocalyptic world, no less. Find your way out of the city with the help of your drone friend, B12. Will you find the secret as to what happened to humanity? Meh, as long as there are head scratches along the way, it's a low priority.

Middle Aged Gaming 2020's the Game Show: V is for Viking
In today's show we'll only be going into two games, however, we'll be going a little further into depth than usual so there will still be plenty to listen to.
Crian: Cyberpunk 2077
Crian gives us a look into one of the most anticipated games of 2020. Needless to say, it had a bit of a rough start, but has that stopped Crian from enjoying it? Listen and find out.
Adam: Assassin's Creed Valhalla
It's hard to believe that it's been a year since Adam first reviewed this game (well... technically a month but it was "last year"). He's now a bit further in and wanted to give us an update now that he's had more time with it. Does it still have that shiny new game shine, or is some of the polish starting to rub off? Find out for yourself.
