Duckman and George ‘The Animal’ Peel are back to bring you news and show reviews in the weird world of pro wrestling. It’s a pro wrestling podcast, with a decidedly Scottish flavour. On the show this week...
Happy New Year folks! It’s the first show of 2023 and the lads hit the ground running! There’s plenty of catching up to do after the Christmas and New Year holiday. George also turned 40, so there’s lots of chat about getting old, dealing with older parents and the relentless march of time. Basically the lads decide Duckman has Daddy issues and probably needs therapy. But who needs therapy when you’ve got a wrestling podcast to air all your stupidest thoughts and feelings? This is a longer opening chat than usual, but the lads cover all kinds of fun topics and a few deep and meaningful ones too.
It’s not just a Duckman therapy session though, cause there’s loads of wrestling news to talk about. The lads pay tribute to the late Don West, shake their heads in disbelief at the return of Vince McMahon to power in WWE, review 2022 on Wrestling Twitter, and decide on the nominees for the 2022 SATP Awards – which you guys will vote on to decide the winners. The show is wrapped up with another chapter of Hulk Hogan’s Bitterness and Bullshit, as the lads delve deeper into the big red and yellow brothers autobiography. Ever wondered how big Hogan’s head was a kid, or where he kept his rock collection? Well, you’re about to find out! This is a slow burn chapter, but the finish is what it’s all about. Did Hogan hold a grudge against a girl for over 50 years? You’re God damn right he did, brother! A super fun show to bring in the new year, we hope you enjoy!
So sit back, relax and get some SATP goodness in your life. Thanks for listening, spread the word of the show and all that good stuff.

Duckman and George ‘The Animal’ Peel are back to bring you news and show reviews in the weird world of pro wrestling. It’s a pro wrestling podcast, with a decidedly Scottish flavour. On the show this week...
As the popular for 20 minutes in the 90s rock band Staind once sang, “It’s been a while...” but we’re back folks! That’s right after various illnesses and personal issues, Duckman and Peel are back ready to talk SO MUCH PRO WRESTLING! Of course there’s the usual random chats about life, family, football and The Sopranos, but this show is all about the rasslin’
The lads cover the sad passing of Scott Hall and remember some of their favourite matches and feuds he had. They discuss what made him such a special performer, his insane life story, his battles with addiction and his complex personality. The lads also talk about Sunny and her 25th DUI arrest, this time she’s killed a 75 year old man. God damn it. Don’t worry, it’s not all doom and gloom.
The lads talk all the big news coming out of WrestleMania. Duckman didn’t watch it, but George is on hand to fill in the blanks. They talk Cody Rhodes returning to WWE, Undertaker going into the HOF, Steve Austin, Vince, HHH retirement and a ton of other subjects coming off the biggest WWE show of the year. There’s also time to make fun of Shane McMahon and speculate on the ad reads on Undertaker’s upcoming podcast.
Over in AEW Tony Khan has been railing adderall again, so he’s bought ROH, signed a ton more talent and gone on a rant about WWE funding a Twitter-bot farm to hate on AEW. There’s never a dull moment with TK. The lads cover some of the bigger stories coming out of AEW. They FINALLY get to talk about AEW Revolution, plus there’s Duckman’s take on the first TK booked ROH PPV, as well as the usual geek out over the stuff the lads are really enjoying in AEW these days.
God damn it’s good to be back and this show has everything – plenty of laughs, a few insights and tons of pro wrestling chat. So sit back, relax and get some SATP goodness in your life. Thanks for listening, spread the word of the show and all that good stuff.

Chaos is the only way to describe this week’s show. Something was in the water at the MFX Studios because this show is WILD. We’ve got World Cup chat as the lads catch up over the first few results of what is the most controversial World Cup in history. It’s amazing how quickly you forget about human rights abuses when there’s an exciting game of footy on. Shame on us all. There’s tales of the dumbest crime taking place in Duckman’s home village, he’s also had a brief run in with WWE’s Adam Pearce on Twitter – watch out for vanity searchers folks, they’re pretty lame. There is some wrestling chat on this show as the lads discuss whatever the hell the NWA is supposed to be these days (told you it was a weird show). The lads have a full review of AEW’s Full Gear PPV (complete with Duckman’s PPV snacks detailed) a show they both really enjoyed, but it did have a few weird moments. In all honesty though, there’s only one thing we’re here for – it’s Hulk Hogan’s Bitterness and Bullshit. The lads read another chapter of the Hulkster’s autobiography and chaos ensues. Only the big red and yellow brother can reduce the lads to tears of laughter. This is easily one of the most fun things we’ve ever done on SATP. Hope you guys enjoy listening to us nearly dying from laughter.
So sit back, relax and get some SATP goodness in your life. Thanks for listening, spread the word of the show and all that good stuff.

Happy New Year! Yeah, ok, it’s two weeks into the new year, but still! George is finally off ‘welfare internet’ and the lads are back! There’s plenty of Christmas catch up stories to be had, as George goes off the rails in a Jeff Hardy-like fashion, Duckman has plenty of stories from Christmas with his family, including the kids pranking his Dad, his brother crank calling 999 by accident, and a rouge pair of underpants. It’s been a fun time.
It wouldn’t be a SATP show without the lads making fun of idiots on Twitter, so there’s plenty of that. There’s tons of pro wrestling news to cover in both WWE and AEW. The lads learn Hulk Hogan is an anti-vax guy, there’s more WWE releases to cover, HHH’s reign of power is officially over, MLW’s lawsuit against WWE is covered as well. There’s AEW chat about new Champions, dumb interim Titles, a massive improvement in the women’s division and the MJF/CM Punk/Wardlow storyline.
The lads hand out their end of year award, and answer all your mailbag questions – including topics like AEW losing George for a deal with Dundee United, how does Otis wipe his ass, who gives the eulogy at Vince McMahon’s funeral and so much more! All that and so much more for the first show of 2022. It’s great to be back and the lads hit the ground running with this show. Plenty of laughs, a few insights and tons of pro wrestling chat.

After a couple of weeks of family business, the lads are back behind the mics with a packed show. Duckman has been travelling to the big city, so we hear all about his adventures on public transport and the cast of characters he met along the way. George is still struggling to get his new house sale through, so he’s pretty damn stressed. A long time listener is back with an email talking about how they’re now back into wrestling and back into our show!
The lads discuss the news that Jon Moxley has entered in-patient rehab for alcohol issues. They talk addiction and how Mox has taken the most important step – by admitting he has a problem and needs help. The recent round of mass roster cuts in WWE is covered. The lads aren’t surprised by the cuts, but they just can’t get their heads around why WWE do this in such a callous way. They also talk about ROH and their announcement that they’re ceasing operations, until at least April. The lads discuss ROH, its importance to modern wrestling and how despite doing the right thing by their roster in relation to COVID, they were the hardest hit by the pandemic. Duckman lightens the mood because he’s found some classic Mr Fuji rib stories! Some of these are just ridiculously cruel and cross the line from practical joke to crime. Old school wrestlers really were a weird bunch.
The lads are SO HYPED for AEW Full Gear this weekend. They preview the show in detail, going through each match, the build to it and they predict the outcomes of the matches. This is just a love-fest of two dudes who love pro wrestling getting to talk about a pro wrestling show they love. The show is wrapped up this week with mailbag, as the lads answer your questions from AEW medical procedures, to the TBS title, plus a question about wrestlers entrance music that really stumps George! Thanks to everyone who sent in questions.
So sit back, relax and get some SATP goodness in your life. Thanks for listening, spread the word of the show and all that good stuff.

This is another roller-coaster of an episode folks. Duckman’s Mum had a recent health scare, thankfully she’s fine but it scared the hell out of our feathered friend. Plus Grumpy Duck Senior proves once again that communication isn’t his best skill. Thankfully George is on hand to share a story about his Dad that is both scary and hilarious. And that doesn’t even cover his Dad’s ‘personal reasons’ for not speaking to him – parents be wild, yo. Plus Duckman shares the best/worst excuse he’s ever heard for someone not going to work.
Of course there’s tons of wrestling chat this week. The lads pay a heartfelt and emotional tribute to the late, great, Jay Briscoe. Vince McMahon is back in the news with new law suits against him, and his recent multi million dollar pay out to Rita Chatterson who accused Vince of some pretty disgraceful behaviour against her back in the 1980s. George reviews the 2023 Royal Rumble. Duckman reviews the 2001 Royal Rumble – that’s the one he watched this week! Plus the lads announce the SATP Award winners for 2022 as voted on by you.
The show is wrapped up, as always, with another extract from Hulk Hogan’s autobiography. Join the lads on a hilarious adventure through ‘Fat Head’ Hogan’s school life. Learn about how much he hated PE, how he couldn’t run, but how he still beat up the best wrestler and toughest coach at the school. We hear about Hogan’s early music career, the bands he was in, the bands he wasn’t in but will probably claim to be in, and the weird ‘mom-ager’ he had who insisted on painting daisy chains on his crotch. And we answer the age old question – did Hulk Hogan write The Chain by Fleetwood Mac? Honestly, the lads haven’t laughed this much since the last show when they read Hogan’s book. The big red and yellow brother is the gift that keeps on giving!
So sit back, relax and get some SATP goodness in your life. Thanks for listening, spread the word of the show and all that good stuff.
