Episode 8: Winter Concert 2011 "Major Wind Works"

On March 6, at 2:00 pm, the Metropolitan Wind Symphony will present "Major Wind Works". You'll hear music by Vaughan Williams, Copland, Gandolfi, Whitacre, Robert Russell Bennett, and others. We will present a world premiere of Kevin Wilt's Fanfare for Winds; and perhaps best of all, Frank Battisti, Conductor Emeritus of the New England Conservatory Wind Ensemble, will be our guest conductor. This will be a wonderful concert—don't miss it! But in case you have to, here's a taste of it in our "Major Wind Works" podcast.
