54. Fearless: Jyoti Singh

A warning that this episode features extremely graphic content. 23-year-old Jyoti Singh had completed her finals and was preparing for an internship to become a doctor of physiotherapy. She told her parents in December of 2012 not to worry; all of their troubles would be over soon. But one night while traveling back from a movie, Jyoti and her friend Awindra were lured onto a private bus by a group of men “looking for some fun”. The brutal violence they endured that night can only be described as pure evil.
