Dr. Lorimer Moseley is a pain scientist, educator and clinician. He has authored over 400 scientific articles and seven books. His contribution to our understanding of how pain works, why pain sometimes persists, and what can be done to reduce persisting pain, has been recognised by awards or prizes in 14 different countries. In 2020 Dr. Moseley was made an Officer of the Order of Australia, his country's second highest civilian honor, for 'Distinguished service to humanity at large in the fields of pain and its management, science communication, medical education and physiotherapy." He lives and works in Kaurna County in Adelaide, South Australia.
