What’s new
In the world of entertainment?
Where the old
Meets the new?
Metropolitan Museum of Art
Wakes up at night tightly and nice
Where becomes transformed in art form
As bodies of fame no longer the same
You’ve artist like Cardi B, a rapper
from the Bronx, a borough that I love
Is where, I work and bring home my daily bread
She wearing organza black extravagant gown
Preferably known
As unknowable depths of the universe
You may like or dislike her style
She’s still Cardi B, a Bronx girl she’ll always be
With a thing to impress ...
She always dresses to do just that
Like Anna Wintour, Vogue editor both women leave entrance of expressions, whoa
Who are we to critique?
It’s the best entertainment
Where NYC never sleeps
Where vibrant colors lives
It’s a scene to applause
As artist like that includes
Actresses, singers, models and best
Comes to show off dress code
This year titled” Garden of Time”
I praise Miss Zendaya, most cool blue
One of the five host of the gala
Dressed by Maison Margiela and John Galliano
Looked dolled-like of a goddess
With a palette of purple peacock
Purple my favorite of the colors
A butterfly went by, sat on her neck and elbow
A silhouette and transparent
No one there had their parents
It’s an occasion to show off
It started shaky as Gaza protesters try shame
NYC Braves
Shook them off
Took them out
Now rooms for creation came to give birth
It’s a light of new breaths
As everyone gave their best performance
Forming exquisite lines, yes forming exquisite
lines
It was each and every one of Who Who’s
What celebrity would show up?
Which one, will not?
If you invited, you will
If you not, you question why not?
Some may want it to be a thing of the past
But, art never dies
It always comes to live
Especially, in a city that never sleeps nor
never gives up
There was a mosquito protector
You can’t wear it on your vest
In your best or worst of days
It’s foolish to catch your eyes
I prefer an eye for the most ice princess
Elle Fanning by name
She showed up with poise
Hands made and structure by the gods
Statuette, thin and with grace
She stood shown skin
Her hair under her shoulders
Paper thinned no, perfect as a goddess
With her left hand down by her side
The other upward as guiding traffic to the Gods
No none listened everyone hurriedly
To the next on line, off you go
Where should I end?
Is hard to find a winner without discrimination
Perhaps Cardi B
Big, black organza match black, whole universe

Minerva talks poetry and microbiology
Meet Minerva, The POET and Microbiologist
04/26/21 • 41 min
Welcome to all, to my show “Meet Minerva, the Microbiologist”.
My name is Minerva A. Garcia also known as “Minerva A. Frias- Garcia”
I am currently the Associate Director Microbiology at Jacobi Med. CTR @ NYC Health & Hospitals Corp. and I am your Microbiologist!
Now again, Microbiology with the microbes welcomes you in and so does poetry, with creative lines.
Analogy of a poem:
Since Covid pandemic we all been to some level depress, but there’s always a light to reach at the end of the tunnel... from a hidden cloud, there comes a rainbow to be seen, appreciated and color our world. Its important to try to move on, despite the many difficulties and challenges we faced.
It important these challenges don’t drown us. We must all face it, and meet it, head on!
This poem was written during a crisis. I do hope, it can reach you as it has reached me...
This poem, I would like to share with you all.
We all know that poetry, drives and stares at the human eyes with intense feelings, because
is the love from the hearts that speaks the truth, as music being universal to all homo sapiens...
so is poetry. A poem can speak to you from one’s heart and experiences... It can touch to all
levels as is presented to be heard... everyone will have a different prospective of its interpretation.
With poetry, I like to color your world. With this in mind, I want to bring to you this
POEM- DEPRESSION, written many years ago and reads like this ...that could be current today
DEPRESSION
Is Not madness
An episode of a conflict?
It is, just an earthly desire?
To let all else go
Trying to reach a perfect state of the soul
Feelings, of no returneth
With your mind entering a state of total darkness...
What can one do to escape?
Should you search for a light?
Reach for a hand
Find comfort under some arms?
Commune with your soul! If you search for it... It’s worth more than gold
Keep digging you’ll strike not silver
I guarantee–You’ll find your lost gold
Your mind may seem heaven
But, know it’s the oceans that are heavier
Enlighten your mind (s), Do you mind?
Enter onto the bluest of skies and take a ride...
Discover to like it ... You can exit at fresh
You just learned to take a deep breath... and breathes
So ....soooo Lets get started!
In today’s show, I’ll be talking about
- LAB WEEK and Laboratory Sections
- CoVid-19/Variant Strains
LAB WEEK➔
Medical Laboratory Professionals Week is held annually during the last week of April, this was Apr 18-24, 2021
Is an annual celebration of the medical laboratory professionals and Pathologists who play a vital role in every aspect of health care. We should show our support and gratitude for the hard work laboratory professionals t/o the year.
Agencies that laboratory have an affiliation all working closely together at many levels...
Is worth mentioning that Labs’ are highly regulated with inspection yearly by to ensure competency/up-to-date standards are met.
All laboratory Certified Medical Professionals must demonstrate yearly competency yearly by successfully fulfilling 12 continuing Education credits know as (CEU’s). They must also show honesty, courtesy, respect, integrity, most of all compassion to the work and meet HIPPA regulations with an emphasis of professionalism or licensed renewal. They have proven themselves to be essentials and emergency health care workers. All laboratorians are expected to work during all snow storms, hurricanes, pandemic and outbreak... many, many hours beyond their shift sacrificing their own lives. That’s why, we termed labs workers as “unsung Lab heroes”. You never seen them, buy they are working behind the scenes with a microscope, taking your bloods, sending reports via LIS to physician, answering calls from physicians, guiding then and working closely with Infectious disease physicians, infection control, etc... They have earned our respect.
Labs are inspected yearly by NYSDOH, CAP, JACHO, EPA, Fire Dept. and In-House Quality...

It’s only human to feel another human
It’s empathy for a human loss of life
All life forms matter
Is in the likeness and mirror-images of ourselves
Whom are we not to bleed like them?
If we are to open each and every one of them
They opened to same color blood
They bleed out red and purple like all the Gods
What does a number tell us, all of us?
Number never lies
Are humans that do!
34,600 Palestinians death
It’s a far cry from what is love
Israel-Palestine stop this fight
It’s a human being burn alive
Where all this strive innocent babes
With its mother and new-borne
All taken too early
To their graves
As the braves
Of all of the man’s
No longer brave
As their hearts
All opened
They cracked open
At the sight
With smells of corpse
Ready to be bury
They dig in their hearts
My dear god
Let it all stop
Man, with hearts, stop this insanity
Why can we all get along?
You want a piece of peace
You want a land of piece, of piece bits of peace
Thus, cut it in half share it with your neighbor
Learn like Jesus did
He shares piece of bread with his disciples
Learned to turn hate into peace
Just like He did, turning water into wine
If you all remove a piece of hate
Perhaps a seed of love
Will be replaced
It’s never too late to revert a bad seed
You must take from your rotten heart
You got to burn it
Take only, one good seed
Thus, place it in your heart
It will grow like a mustard seed
Don’t forgot to water it
Open the shade, let the sun in
Learn to control all your satanic temper
When the sun becomes too hot find a shade instead of letting the heat burn you alive
Instead of throwing heats at the rest
Test your inner self to control your good soul
Never let yourself go to hell
Is where the endless fires burn
It’s hotter than the sun
It’s burns all hopes
Students are the future
They make changes known
They know future is there’s
They have to make it known
Participants at major universities: Columbia, NYU, George Washington, Indiana, Yale,
University of Texas, University of California, etc.
are all demanding solidarity and end to war?
Some may call them, activism
I call them hope
Instead of being and being left alone
They prefer to make it know
The world shouldn’t stand alone
They must stand together
They beliefs are bigger than their dreams
They dream big, to make known
They do not stand alone
For their believes in the future of hopes
War must end and should come to an end
There’s no place of peace call war
I believe in hopes
It’s embedded in my DNA’s
It shows in my blue jeans, I am wearing
I hide nothing that’s not love
Love takes center stage
Love is torch that should be lighted
Love is beam of light necessary to sustain us all
Love is a seed needed in every man’s heart
It’ll be peace
If every man
Has a believe
That love’s endless in their heart of art
I conclude
Students are the future
Listen to them
Instead of jailing them

The NASA Three Satellites Sun
Meet Minerva, The POET and Microbiologist
06/04/24 • -1 min
Who collects history?
Is it the Gods?
Or the goddess Athena, like I?
It is NASA’s three satellites
It has names to describe as
1.Terra, Spanish Earth
2.Aqua, Spanish water
3.Aura, how beautiful a view
It had a weight
As much as an elephant
Does it look like one?
It’s an artificial brain, unlike anyone!
They’re orbiter’s
By name’s are
Gazing, gathering updates
Of our planet, Earth
With it all telling us info is like anyone!
Weather, wildfires, smokes, desert dust, volcanic plumes, clouds thickness, world’s forest, grass/wet lands, crops and even monitors oil spills
It would be
A go, if it could predict
Escapees from prison
For sure, it would be nice?
They now all 3 coming to end of an age
Slowly dying with their info inside
Despite without a brain
Did it ever have one?
We implanted one ...
Can human transplant one to other humans?
For sure, in the near future
We can, a cat to cat brain can be done
Who can trust a man?
To predict God’s plan
To change destiny
To switch memory
Would their life
Meet a new height
Like these three satellites did?
All life’s things must all come to an end
Except for certain type of jellyfish
You do the search
You try to find its immortality
Can you be trusted, not 2make human immortal?
Man would go to any length
To buy time
To place it in a jar to bury it for themselves
Yet, die with this secret that defines time
It’s a creed of life’s expectancy
All man for themselves
If you’ve offspring’s
Thus, you’ll change your mind
You prefer to find a Time Machine
Have them live 4ever
No one deserves to die
That you love so much
Because, of man’s greed
The need to survive
The shortages of supplies
The reason’s all living should die
It is not a theory by me nor by I
It is that I believe in God’s creed
He died to save all we
Whom, are we not to die as He?
Going back to these three satellites
The need for record keeping it’s a must
Researchers and the best of minds
Must have a glass of wine
Perhaps than, they will collaborate
How to gather all their good brain cells
Instead of competing and destroying
Each other’s intel brain to a virus we don’t know
By collecting and gathering all the info
Onto a super NASA chip
Instead of collecting data
In a chip sheet, hope restores
We’ve learned NY Times Sunday May 4, 2024 page A11 titled: “What Happens When NASA Lises Its Eyes on the Earth”
Will they all die, it’s a yes
When we fall asleep
Will we wake up with an intellectual brain of info?
Will a new one, come?
Will we be feed futuristic updates?
Will our minds hunger for more?
Will we settle into day’s doom?
Will we assume it’s ok to look the other way?
Will we be forced to sway our brain wrong way?
Success always comes with a price!
It is right at of the times to seek more
If were to survive
Humans must always continue to strive
History always tells us
Repeats events can be avoided
With past pretense and prints of the past
Past not your wrong in your hearts but purity
If we humans, take a break
Science, will be now left be hide
Our future children will 4ever
Remain in pre-kindergarten
Maybe, there never be a break from
climate change; melting ice sheets and global warming: increase world’s temps
All due fossil fuels with Increase deforestation
Our planet in desperate need
Not if one, but all of us
If we to survive with prints left future generations
An effort of unselfishness must proceed
An intellectual understanding of our greed
Not to proceed without a love need
Love, must be always place first
To protect Homo sapiens
First from, our own selfish beast
Humans must aim to focus
On Earth’s needs ...
Before all of man’s selfish needs with its greed
With a message for all humans
To make a sacrifice and a fruitful responsibility
To save the planet to start now, not yesterday
It’s today that’s a matter to matter 4-all-2mow’s
This is your, Poet Minerva A. Garcia

The Injured Brain
Meet Minerva, The POET and Microbiologist
05/28/24 • -1 min
How fragile the brain?
The injured brain?
The American soldier by name
Whom has stood the test of all times
without fame
Risking his own life for ours
Would you do the same?
Would you have his back?
He dies for us, that’s a sure
For sure:
His only guarantee are the shores
His rest among the shores for sure
He has performed all the tours for sure
His injuries gone unnoticed
Still battling all for sure
Their complaints gone never noticed
Signs of brain injuries without one
It’s a hard task for a proven soldier
Whom has repeatedly died his hurts
without being heard
Required to prove but, still alive
Life proves you’re a hero if you died saving one’s
They’re all indeed hero’s
With a social security ID wrapped
around their neck
Their Purple Heart and blood
The Army will not see it
With symptoms of traumatic brain injury (TBI):
Vertigo, headaches, anxiety, fatigue
Stress, sleep apnea, confusion, vomiting, memory loss, and instability and so on ...
All in all
Unable to hold relationship
Odd jobs in the tries
Always dismissed and promised of good byes
These are the future
Of an Army soldier
Who had the task
Known as a Firing Mortar
He joined the Army
A perfect score
In his military aptitude test
Now, struggle to read and convince others
Who now he is
It is not who he should be
To try to convince others
Who he is now, he not really him but, he is
Is a classic story of a true hero?
Whom has sacrificed his own life
Returns home to his wife
Now, she doesn’t know him
It’s a struggle of all of the battles
Where confusion becomes reality
Here, in this real world
This hero can’t seek proof
As his own military command
Doesn’t buy his symptoms
As all dismissed
His price are heaven compared to his burdens
His left all alone
His wife leaves him
His now, becomes
Glue to his basement
Nowhere else to go, trying too hard to survive
Aiming for a college degree
Unable to remember simple tasks
He now, must contempt to giving up
By definition, hero’s never gives up
This one has been driven not by will
But, by his mental brain injury to do just that
Even as he struggled, he not will to give up
In his heroic brain
He’s been bread not to give up
He started a Facebook Page
To relieve others like him
In his platoon
Also, dozens like him
His symptoms are more than in his head
The VA, tells him “Go home, you’ll improve!”
This solider knows better
They’ve already told him
Just what, already heard
You can only trust a grenade
His only hope, in his head
Still, not giving up
He seeks out jobs
With knocked of sounds in his head
The doors bell rings
No one’s home
Still, he opens the door
No human presence, all in his head
He relinquished his heroic pride
Prefers to try as all soldiers do
He goes back to his medic
They tell him “Dehydrated, drink water”
He knows lies
He recognizes hopes
Here, there’s none
He prefers to die but, heroes never lose hope
They have in their heart
Letters written by them
God just like them
Wake up, you not ready to go
As they wake up
The sun comes for them
You sacrificed your life
It’s me coming again, am your only friend
Don’t give up
Don’t crawl on your bed
Don’t you ever think you just a pretend
You been severing, suffering from TBI,
traumatic brain injuries
It is no joke
Others may dismiss your symptoms
Oh, no not I
I, was once’ s like you
My suggestion to you
Write a letter to the Pentagon
Grab your heroic peace
Piece out all the puzzles
Find a healthy brain cell
However, perhaps one
Gather all your platonic platoon soldiers
Protect their hearings by fighting your lives
It’s now, not later identifiable object
Blows safe to explain brains injuries
That is to prove experiences of TBI’s
As if hit by a truck, roadside bomb or collision
It’s all too sad:
To leave a soldier parked in his basement
Where no one hears his cries
Unfair because, he heard all of ours

Sing a Song to Earth
Meet Minerva, The POET and Microbiologist
05/21/24 • 6 min
This is your poet, Minerva A. Garcia. Here’s my poem titled: Sing A Song to Earth. Written SAT May 4, 2024 at 9AM
Sing, sing and sing praises
Praise and sing, again
Sing, sing, sing again
To Earth, the beautiful
Praise to the Earth that gives you daily bread, thus, raise your glass, raise your glass of wine as it rains for you
Love your day, love it day and night, as never wants to give up
It cries, and heats up every time you burn her alive
Give and be thankful
To Mother Earth
Whom gave you birth
You been wrapped around by her love
Held, close you been!
Green she’s as seen
Crystal clear waters for you to drink
A horizon of prayers it sends to you
Don’t you ever, ever let her go!
She brings blessings to you and all
Hold on to her near and tight
Don’t let her out of your sight
It’s only right ...
To give her all of your respects
Whenever you may want to trash her
Remember, it’s her watching and protecting you
She does day and night for you
Whom has that right not watch over her?
Know, that watch on your wrist you owe it to her
She’s that chlorophyll of oxygen giving-life
Earth revolves around the sun
365 days/6 hrs./9 minutes to be exact
Can you ever, ever, ever, question that? It’s a fact
1 billion years, our sun will dust out
Our Earth gone
As history by scientist tells us
How will 26th century look like?
A robotic world of intelligence, perhaps?
Will Homo sapiens live longer?
Will they find new life, in a new planet?
Will they die younger than us? X2
Will they have lived longer, then us
If you ever begin to doubt
Why Earth’s been around
4.54 +/- billions of years old (4.54 +/- 0.05 B)
Measured by rocks radiometrically
Turritopsis dohrnii, immortal jellyfish
Reverts to a full sexual immature, colonial stage
As reached sexual maturity
As lived a solace life form
There’re others in such companies
Of species Aurelia as is, Laodicea undulata
Worldwide temp to tropic waters
Brought to light 1883 by Anton Dohrn, Naples
Age no more ...
The future can bring man to near immortality
How to exact and extract an anti-aging piece
To inject a Homo to eternal life? That’s the key!
T.dohrnii begin life as microscopic piece
As free-living larvae, planulae
Giving rise to colony of polys
Thus, attaching sea floors
Now, what happens?
As branches forms?
All of the polyps become branched forms
Thus, never foreseen
It’s a science of a scene, where a creature lives
Even with a disease, in the Medulla stage, not
really, it’s a Medusa stage
Reverts to the polyp form as it relives, over again and over again
Question no more, there’s evidence
Am sure, of an oceanic creature immortality
Or an alien? Turritopsis dohrnii, a jellyfish
I like to conclude ... it’s hopes 4fountain of youth?
Thank you. Minerva A. Garcia, Your Poet

Who was Andrew Rodriguez, a Resident of Hempstead, FL?
Meet Minerva, The POET and Microbiologist
07/02/24 • 6 min
Andrew Rodriguez, 42 years old
Born May 9, 1981
Passed on Tuesday June 18, 2024
Funeral Sunday June 23, 2024
He had a gorgeous knocked out wife, Marlenis
Two sons: Aidan 17 and Mason 11
A police officer with Miami-Dade, FL
A Broward Sheriff’s deputy
What’s wrong with this picture?
What was so sad to learn?
What was not right?
What puzzle/images buried our heads, til date?
That now, we questioned
As it doesn’t seem to fit?
We can continue to question
It will not bring, Andrew back
His mom hard to console his wife, my niece Marlenis a beautiful soul, cries silently
As her eyes puff and too sad matched
Her Black dress all in distress ...
His mom, I thus gave her a deep hug
It was too hard to express my pains, as I could Feel her pains as a mother
there’s no greater pain to bury your child first, you last
I am 100% sure ...
No mother, want to bury her son 1st
She would trade it
Preferring to be her
Even if she has to go to the devil
It’s a price
You prefer to pay
Give your life 1st
What kind of bargain would require
A reversal such trajectory act
To dismiss your life and
Instead have him, not miss his
It’s a classical story
You don’t want to hear
It’s a very dear son
Too clear to hear
As I sat, in close vicinity
His coffin I could see
His wife dressed all in black
You can’t crack a joke here, all too sad here
A eulogy was heard ...
Precisely of the greatest of man
Andrew Rodriguez, was definitely one of them
I reached close to his presence, I prayed
God, an Our Father and Hail Mary
Now, protect all of us present
Next, could be any one of us
He’s now with His God thus, we not
He is suffering, now no more
As he rolled over to end his pains
None noticed
His heart gave up
His own choice
He decided by his own will
To not look back but, forward
This time, no more life in Him
He took his own piece of work as a gun
Place onto his body in his car
Knowingly, instead of going home
To his wife and kids, but his God instead
There’s no further investigation
No more questions
No accusations
No blames ... we all have a free will
God is all loving?
God is all fair?
God loves all of us?
Did He loved Andrew that much, that he had?
To go and follow him, instead
Of leaving all behind, even his kids
Everyone spoke eloquently of Mr.Rodriguez
His friends, colleagues and all
His dear children Mason and Aidan
His wife, Marlenis with her swollen eyes
What have we all learned?
Death is transient
That you can’t change
God is that place, of a heaven we must reach
We got to be more than Good
To enter the gates of heaven
Theirs’ endless lakes and rivers no one thirst
There’s none to eat, nor hungers
It’s a place where love are the styles
Where music rings with endless sounds
No man can return
That stay, is there forever
As you enter
You can’t leave
You’ll live there, forever
That’s why, you can’t see them again
You will ...
If you good like Andrew
Be good and aim to be good like Angel
He helped everyone, he forgot to help self
The last part
You don’t do
You got to help yourself first
Place, other last so, you can last
My advice
Seek help
Is not weak
It’s the strength within
Minerva A. Garcia, your Poet
