Tori Allen is a freelance producer and journalist living in Thailand. We became friends during her eight years at CBC Radio working on Metro Morning, q and DNTO.

Last year Tori and I sat in the bunkie of a cottage at our annual Lady Camp trip and talked about how living abroad as a 'trailing spouse' means she constantly reinvents herself for work, something she realizes she has always done.

WHAT I SHOULD HAVE SAID
