Matt Spectro Thru The Multiverse

This week we’re joined by the youngest guest in the Multiverse history, my niece Delaney Spectro!!!! We travel back to 2001 for the Justice League premier episode “Secret Origins“. We discuss experiencing her first super hero cartoon, HawkGirl's amazing battle cry, the decision to slightly alter the big 7s original line up and Snapper Carr!!! Its that spooky time of year again when the Multiverse celebrates Halloween!! This week first time guest John joins the show as we chat Batman and werewolves!!! We go back to 1992 for BTAS episode "Moon of the Wolf" Based on the comic story written by the late great Len Wein! We discuss such topics as various werewolf films, the impact of Batman the animated series.the baffling plan of our villain, Batmans refusal to believe in Werewolves and the phrase "Tuesday episode" all this and more as we kick off Trick or treating.......in cartoon form!

This week we are breaking out of the Marvel/DC bubble!! The host of the youtube show Raging Rainbow Dr Mid-Niter joins us as we go back to 1997 for Spawn episode "Burning Visions" As the 90s exploded with superhero animation HBO took it to a new level with the very adult oriented Todd Mcfarlanes Spawn the animated series!! This one definitely wasnt for children as this really pushed the boundaries of superhero animation!!! Join Dr Mid-Niter and Matt as they talk the 90s Image boom, the extreme violence of this show, gangsters named after hockey players and spilling donuts on a crime scene!!!! All this and more as we discuss Heaven and Hell.....in cartoon form!!!

It’s another exciting new episode as we’re talking the 2nd oldest cartoon we’ve ever discussed with everyone’s favorite flying rodent! My pal Jose stopped by the Multiverse for his first time as we go back to the 1947 Mighty Mouse cartoon, "Fight to the Finish!" Witness Mighty Mouse battle his arch nemesis Oil Can Harry for the love of Pearl Pureheart!! Such topics come up like Mighty Mouse's secret identity, a whole lotta singing, what courting apparently was like back then, the glory days of violent cartoons and Jose learns there's a Lord of the Rings cartoon!!! All this and more as we have a Fight to the Finish...in cartoon form!

This week im joined by my long time friend Francis Mackey! We travel back to 1994 for Iron Man the Animated Series episode "And the Sea Shall Give Up Its Dead" Different episode then usual as we get into more details of the comic books at the time and their connection to the Iron Man cartoon. On this episode we also discuss our thoughts on War Machine, the rather large cast, Scarlett Witch's questionable wardrobe, the forgotten hero Century, plus the Mandarin's favorite flowers! All this and more as we discuss old Shell Head himself.......in cartoon form!
