Advent of Hope: Waiting and Watching for Jesus | Advent pt 1 | Ep. 10

This episode begins the first part of a 4 part Advent series that will explore the themes of Hope, Faith, Joy and Peace.

This week we begin Advent by discussing the hope we have because of the birth of Jesus. Anna and Simeon are two characters of the Christmas story that rarely get much notice but these 2 heroes of the faith lived hopeful lives, devoted to hearing God and watching for Him to move. They were among the first to recognize that Jesus was the long-awaited Messiah because their hearts were ready to see Him. Today in this devotional and time of prayer and reflection we will practice preparing our hearts to see Jesus throughout this Advent season.
