Guest Segment: Chris English QuiltsMy guest is Chris English, a quilter and fabric/textile designer in the UK. Chris is known for utilizing recycled fabrics in his one of a kind quilts. The past several years his quilts have been shown at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, UK.
We chat about Chris's creative background in textile design leading up to his love for finding previously loved and repurposed fabrics to make gorgeous and unique quilts. She taught design at the University of Minnesota and the Art Institute before starting her design business, which includes surface pattern design, SVG designs, and die cut for designer for silhouette. Karina was the creative director of Carta Bella scrapbook papers. Her kids brand, Mini Lou, has sold products for Nordstrom, Peek C
