Today's friend of the podcast is a Seattle native who has taken her music all over the country. She attended the Point Park U. Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh - with a focus on theatre. Since graduating, some of her many accomplishments include doing a cappella at Hershey Park, singing in the #1 ranked top 40s band for Carnival Cruise Lines, and voiceover and BGV work in New York City. She returned to Seattle two years ago to pursue an independent music career, during which time she launched the Duet Series - with the next show May 10th at The Dane featuring Champagne and has been working on a solo album, due out this summer. Please welcome, a multi-instrumentalist and incredible vocalist - former caricature artist - Emily McVicker.
