Spirituality and Religion are two entirely separate things, but there is quite a bit of crossover between the two. Today Andrew and Katie discuss their own personal spiritual experiences and they break down what is at the heart of spirituality, within and outside of religion. As a former Christian, Andrew really wanted to distance himself from religion, Christianity, and anything to do with faith. Over time however, his views have really softened to understanding that all of it has a place when you are connected. It's the Shame that doesn't have a place in spirituality. Katie has more of a newer age approach to spirituality. She really leans into the mystical. Whether it be card decks, crystals, the moon, or just connecting with nature, Katie has found spirituality in so many areas of life. It is all around us, we just have to be willing to tap into it.
