In this week's episode, the boys start off on a somber note, talking about the recent passing of broadcasting great Vin Scully. They highlight some of his biggest calls and what he meant to the game of baseball. Afterwards, Mike Trout's recent back injury brings up the debate of if we're now seeing the downside of his career, and/or if the Angels should trade him. 'The Captain' doc released episodes 3 & 4 last week. Michael recaps it. The trade deadline has come and gone, and we have seen some teams get better and others stay worse. Juan Soto was the prize in San Diego, which left Washington picking up the pieces of what to do next with their franchise. Who were the winners & losers of this deadline? The boys dive in. The boys kick off this week talking about a MIA player that recently returned into the spotlight. Enter, Kumar Rocker. With the draft coming up in July, he's joined an Independent baseball team in hopes of being selected in the first round again. Is it too late? Breaking news hit everywhere today with leaks from the first place Minnesota Twins that newly signed shortstop Carlos Correa will opt-out after this season, and also that the Washington Nationals will try to trade Juan Soto as part of their rebuild. The boys put on their GM hats and lay out the best trade scenarios for him. They enter Fantasy Factory answering the curious case of Bryce Harper's fantasy value now that he's out for a while with an elbow injury. His one-time third MVP talks have lessened, and now he's looking like trade bait for fantasy owners. After, Steve gives his Yah or Nah on two fantasy trades and then the boys round out the show with Collection Corner.
