The New York Yankees have some things to decide this offseason. And in our Fanmail Friday episode, we were asked about the future of Brian Cashman. Will he have a shorter leash? Who do the Yankees go after in free agency? What are their needs? Did we see the AL East’s playoffs implosion coming? Does the Fall League give any guys an opportunity to be invited to Spring Training in 2024? Is there a way to give Giancarlo Stanton a different contract? One of our viewers came up with an interesting idea, and we discussed the possibility. And then we talk about the playoffs. The Championship Series is set on both sides, with the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers squaring off in the AL and the Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks facing off in the NL. We talk about Philly’s performance against Atlanta and wonder if they’re the team of destiny this season.
