The Chicago White Sox stopped the losing streak at eight games and beat the Kansas City Royals, 7-3. Aside from one inning, Dylan Cease pitched very well. He earned a quality start, which was the first quality start for White Sox pitching this season. Andrew Vaughn was 2-for-4 with 4 RBIs. After hits by Danny Mendick and Tim Anderson, Andrew Vaughn hit a huge 3 -run HR in the seventh inning to break things open. Jake Burger had a big game too, going 3-for-4 with a HR. It's not dark yet, but it's getting there for the Chicago White Sox as their losing streak hits 8 games
The Chicago White Sox turned in another lifeless effort as they lost to the Kansas City Royals, 6-0. The Sox have now lost 8 straight games and 7 of those loses have been against AL Central teams. The Sox defense disappointed Dallas Keuchel once again, committing two errors. Keuchel was serviceable but seemed rattled by the errors and went on to issue 5 walks. In total, White Sox pitching issued 11 walks to the Kansas City Royals. Tim Anderson and Jake Burger each had an error, bringing the team total to 20 which is a league worst. The losing streak must end eventually and Dylan Cease has to be the stopper for the Chicago White Sox. Thank you for the continued support and Go Sox.
