The World Series will not be a sweep. The Diamondbacks won their first ever road playoff game and they did so by doing what they didn't do the previous 4 attempts: They tacked on runs and pulled away.

Also Merrill Kelly went 7 innings, the longest World Series start of the decade. Good work by Lovullo and the Diamondbacks coaching staff to manage to the game rather than the spreadsheet.

Maybe a team in the future will make developing pitchers who go deep part of their rebuilding plan. A novel concept.
