Locked On Gamecocks - Daily Podcast On South Carolina Gamecocks Football & Basketball

On todays show, Andrew discusses the comments made by Shane Beamer and some of the players at their pressers yesterday afternoon and gives his thoughts on some trends that have developed from these fall camp pressers.

He starts by giving his three main takeaways from all the pressers, including how Shane Beamer is handling the Mark Stoops saga, why the offensive playcalling from last Saturdays scrimmage could provide a clue into what OC Marcus Satterfield wants to do with this offense in 2022 and a tidbit from DT Alex Huntley regarding what Coach Beamer does to provide perspective to the players.

He then discusses the latest injury news that was provided by head coach Shane Beamer, including unfortunate news on WR Chad Terrell, promising news on LB Sherrod Greene and RB MarShawn Lloyd and some so-so news involving P Kai Kroeger and RB Christian Beal-Smith.

Lastly, Andrew talks about the storyline trends that he has noticed from these pressers as fall camp wears on, including how Dakereon Joyner and the WR room is much deeper in 2022, safety Nick Emmenwori potentially being the next great South Carolina DB and the mentality that Zacch Pickens and the defense is carrying into the upcoming season!
