The Miami Hurricanes took care of business in their 2023 football opener, beating the Miami (OH) Redhawks 38-3 at Hard Rock Stadium. The Canes rushed for an impressive 250 yards behind a 4-man running back rotation of Henry Parrish, Ajay Allen, Mark Fletcher and Don Chaney Jr. Fletcher, Parrish and Chaney each scored a long touchdown. The Hurricanes offensive line gave up zero sacks, the wide receivers didn’t drop any balls, and the defense only missed four tackles. They kept the Redhawks out of the end zone.
