Can Miami Hurricanes Running Game Take Advantage Of Temple's D? How Will WEATHER Affect The Score?
Locked On Canes - Daily Podcast On Miami Hurricanes Football & Basketball09/22/23 • 32 min
The Miami Hurricanes have a chance to take advantage of a poor rushing defense from their Week Four opponent. The Temple Owls are 130th in America against the run. In their toughest game yet, they were gashed for 254 on the ground by Rutgers. Host Alex Donno expects Miami’s running back by committee with Henry Parrish, Don Chaney Jr, and Ajay Allen to take full advantage. Miami might be able to produce more than one 100 yard rusher this week. Mark Fletcher may or not play this weekend, but we won’t know for sure until right before kickoff.
With heavy winds and rain expected, what part of Miami’s offense could suffer? If the field conditions are poor, Donno expects the yards after catch to be affected and thus fewer points scored. He still expects Miami to win comfortably but it might be a lower scoring affair. Can Miami’s defense deal with anything Temple throws at them? As usual, the pass rush will be key. Donno answers a question about what is missing in recruiting to make the Hurricanes a contender again.
