This is just going to be a positive channel, just positive, we're going to inspire each other, keep each other motivated, learn new things, that's, that's what it's all about. So this first week I just want to kind of introduce a couple of things that maybe will be a little bit of a tradition here on the channel that we may revisit or talk about on a weekly basis, the first of which is a quote that means a lot to me. I'm a huge tennis fan, I love tennis, I love playing tennis, it's so much fun, I love watching tournaments I'm a huge fan of Arthur Ashe, which he passed many, many years ago. However, there is a quote that he has said that has always stuck with me and the quote is "start where you are use what you have, do what you can". It always motivates me to keep going where I feel like, oh my gosh, I can't do it anymore, I don't have any more resources, start where you are, is no matter where you are in life, you can, that's all you need is just to start, you don't have to already be at a certain level to meet your goals, you have to get there somehow. So whatever you're doing in life, if you have something that you want to achieve, just start where you are, day one is going to be the first day that you're going to move forward and meeting your goals. And the second part of his quote is use what you have. So of course, if you're just starting out, you may not even know how you're going to get there, you don't even have all the resources or maybe even the money to get to where you, where you really want to be in life to achieve those goals. So use what you have, you may not have money, but you probably have a lot of skills that a lot of people with money don't have. So don't forget to just know that if it's a skill that you don't already have, you can learn it, anything can be learned if you just put your mind to it....

My name is Mahlia and I've always had a passion for finding great deals, Keeping up with the latest tech trends, self care tips and just enjoying life. Here on the show, I will share with you things that bring me joy and hope they can also help to make your life better. I want there to be something for everyone. So what does it mean to live a luxe life life? Well, it really depends on your priorities. For some people, it's about travel or having a healthy investment portfolio. For others, it's about luxury homes, luxury cars or using the best tech gadgets to make your life easier while giving you some extra swag. But a true luxe lifestyle to me means being happy without breaking your budget. A luxe lifestyle also means pursuing your dreams and stepping out on faith to get to where you want to achieve your goals. I will periodically bring on guest speakers to share how they achieved living their luxe life and helpful information to help you to navigate towards your goals. With the right mindset, it is possible to live a luxe life on a budget. A healthy and happy life is possible even in the toughest of economic times, it simply means that you have to think a little outside the box to live your best life. There are a lot of things you can do to ensure you always have the best deals on whatever you need. Hey, it's okay to splurge sometimes, just not on everything. You know, we all like nice things.
I have always had a love of travel in the process of getting there. I love the planning, the packing, the choice of options to make the trip well planned out to get as much out of it each day as possible, as much as we all love to travel. I know we're all for saving money whenever possible. Look, most of us can't afford to be on a tropical island every weekend, but I will share with you great travel deals throughout the year that I come across and maybe you can discover a new destination that you've never been. I hope you can share with me as I plan to share with you. I love interacting with my listeners to hear how you save money or even things that you decided to splurge on. With a luxe lifestyle, self-care is something we all need to practice. Not only does self care nurture your body, it can help you sleep better, make you more productive and even boost your mood. Self-care isn't just about taking time to relax. It's a holistic concept that can help you feel more balanced and fulfilled in every area of your life. Sometimes though, self care can feel like a luxury we can't afford, but with the little focus you can make self care a priority. I have a quote that I can't believe I haven't presented before. This is actually 11 of my favorite quotes, I might have said that before, but I really do mean this is one of my favorite quotes. I even have a shirt with Audrey Hepburn on this quote. The quote reads, "Nothing is impossible. The word itself says, I'm possible". Think about it. How could you think that anything in this world is impossible? How could you think that anything in this world is not within reach? Of course there's a lot of things that you feel like, okay, well I don't have the money to buy this or I don't know this person to be able to network with them, but there's so many ways that you can figure out a way to get to where you want in life. There's so many ways to figure out how to make money. I mean money doesn't grow on trees, but there's a way to make it if there's a will, there's a way have you heard that saying? So don't give up. Don't ever think that just because something seems so impossible that it's something that you cannot achieve in your lifetime because I'm telling you, you absolutely can. Do you think that I ever thought that I'd be starting my own podcast? Did you ever think that I'd figure out how to do all the technical things that I need to start a podcast? I had no idea what I was doing when I started this, I figured it out along the way when I thought it was impossible. Guess what it became possible. Just put one ft in front of the other. Don't think about the negative. Don't put those fake thoughts into your, into your mind, into the universe and think that you can't achieve whatever you want to achieve whatever you put your mind to. You can do it whatever goals that you have, whatever dreams that you have up on your vision board, they will come true. Why? Because you're going to work towards them. So don't forget that.
We all have a natural internal biological clock system The way I like to think of it is that it keeps you in tune with the world clock. Circadian rhythm controls your physical, mental and behavioral changes that follow a daily cycle. We as humans can completely throw your daily cycles off by changing our patterns. Circadian comes from the Latin word Circa around and diem day.

We are all In sync with the rising and setting of the sun. Plus a small area in the middle of our brain has its own clock that controls our patterns naturally. This controls how or when we produce melatonin even our metabolism. Your body will normally be more tired at night and more alert during the day.
Many things can throw off your circadian rhythm including your sleep patterns, traveling in a different time zone that causes Jet Lag, the seasons of the year, and daylight savings time. So if you hang out all night or work late nights this completely throws your body off.
This brings up another topic of the senate approving no longer having daylight savings times. We will always be in this time period. However, I don’t know how I feel about this. There are times I love when it’s dark earlier in the day but other times I love when it stays lighter longer in the day...
