The Nets don't have enough problems to deal with, so they fired Steve Nash, and are replacing him with suspended Celtics coach, Ime Udoka, make it make sense. Kyrie Irving posts about a movie containing anti-semetic content, and now who knows if he'll ever play basketball again. He needs to complete a checklist before the Nets will let him come back, and as a free agent this off-season, who is going to invest millions of dollars in this person? For the second straight year, an NBA team is penalized for "gun-jumping" free agency, but if the penalty is only a second round pick, why stop? Vlad Guerrero Jr. did an interview that every Blue Jay fan should be excited to hear. Ontario politics are a mess right now, we take some time to vent a little, because some messed up stuff is happening in collective bargaining right now.

With fantasy football season quickly approaching, we discuss how we feel about our keeper selections, and discussing our levels of optimism heading into the draft. We also talk about how bad a QB Drew Locke must be to lose a position battle to Geno Smith, and how do you really move forward from something as demoralizing as that? There always seems to be something going on behind the scenes with France leading up to the World Cup, and this year is no different. John gives us the low down on a wild story involving Paul Pogba and his family. The Jays get swept by the Angels, play a few extra inning games against inferior opponents, is this something to worry about, or just part of the ebbs and flow of a long regular season?

Today we discuss whether or not the Raptors have any shot of winning a playoff round once the playoffs start. Will this be the last year as Raptors head coach for Nick Nurse? Tyrone Lue is built different, and by that he means he doesn't give a shit about his family apparently. Baseball is BACK! The Jays are off to a slowish start, Wainright gifts Eric Swanson a jersey. Sergio Romo pitched for the final time during San Francisco's final spring training game, and two stories came out of that, other then the event itself, one heartwarming, and one infuriating (led to Dave using a no-no word). The MLB and the MLBPA have agreed on the first ever CBA for minor leaguers. Dodgers fan gets truck sticked during a poorly thought out proposal. DO NOT call Anthony Rendon a bitch! We finish off our topics with a game of WHO Would You Rather, Cam Newton edition.

The Astros win! The Astros win! The Houston Astros are your 2022 World Series Champions, and I'm sure everyone is thrilled for them! Dave taps into John's hatred of customer service reps by telling his own frustrating story that happened to him a few days ago. We run through the NFL games we thought were interesting, a lot of tight games during the early slate of games. A couple of huge performances. We also talk about the NFL trade deadline that's just passed. Jake Paul can't lose, most recently he knocked down Anderson Silva and earned a victory over him. Tune in for our grievance of the week, where John tells us a story that is very out of character for him.

We begin today's episode, just absolutely flabbergasted by all the gross behaviour by every party involved (aside from the victims of course), and the fake moral righteousness of the Houston Texans, and the NFL, and of course, the Browns always are gonna Brown. An old dog (Tony LaRussa), tries to learn a new trick (statistical analysis) and promptly proceeds to break his own brain in the process. Blue Jays call up top prospect (#4 overall in baseball) Gabriel Moreno. Minor league pitcher blows game by hitting 4 batters in a row. Canadian Mens National Soccer team ends it's strike after promising progress with Soccer Canada on how to distribute their prize money. Tampa Bay, and a historic 3-peat, or the young up and comers, what are we hoping to see happen?

Today we open the episode talking about the Christian McCaffrey blockbuster trade, John is underwhelmed, Dave has high hopes. Russell Wilson sucks, right? For a nice guy, is there a less likeable person in the world? Kanye West is back to pissing people off, Dave asks John how his outbursts affect how he listens to one of his favourite artists. Lance McCullers hurt his elbow during a post-season celebration, that's funny right? John didn't think so either. LeBron will end the season as the NBA All-Time leading scorer, why are people stanning so hard for Kareem Abdul-Jabar?

With John on vacation, we pre-recorded a couple episodes this week, and they will be a little different format then you’re used to. Today we discuss how we feel about the “Metaverse” and basically a world that resembles the book and movie “Ready Player One”. We transition a bit into using the technology to prolong our existence, even if that means separating our mental state from our physical form. Finally we speak out what might happen if the tech becomes tired of taking our orders.

Tonight the boys from Fourteen Twenty Sports joined us, we jumped back and forth between topics a bit. We spoke about how our Albertan friends agree with John’s disgust over An American Underdog. We talk Ben Roethlisberger’s Hall of Fame resume. Our conversation leads us down the path of reminiscing about Kawhi’s buzzer beater against Philly. Us 4 Canadians do our best to discuss College football, and if it’s impossible to hope for more then moral victories if you don’t cheer for the top 3-5 teams. Thanks to Dave and Brent for joining us for this very fun episode. We look forward to talking again in the future.

In this one we discuss soft as baby shit Russell Westbrook for complaining that Sacramento plays a song after he bricks a shot. We talk about Novak Djokivic and his clusterfuck trying to get into Australia. We discuss how we normally resolve conflicts and how that has changed as we’ve gotten older. And then John keeps it deep by asking what each of us think we are known for, and what we’d like to be known for that maybe other people don’t always see. And we finish it off with a grievance of the week and a happy moment of the week.

A wild Sunday of football, we talk about TWO walk off defensive touchdowns, and just a ton of exciting game this week. Will Brady play next year? If so, where? The Arizona Cardinals reportedly are parting ways with their GM. Can the Jags win the AFC South? Skip and Shannon both put on an embarrassing display. Zion punctuates a win with a huge dunk, the Suns get big mad about it, we explain how we think about this type of sportsmanship/gamesmanship. Argentina wins the World Cup, was this the best final ever? Is Messi the greatest player ever? Overall success or failure for Qatar?
