Will a revamped offensive line make the Jets contenders in the AFC East?

As we edge closer and closer to free agency it is safe to assume that addressing the offensive line is a top priority for New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas. If Douglas is able to upgrade the line could Gang Green actually compete for the AFC East Division? If not, what are other pieces are truly needed to be competitive?
