E30 Transition to Multi-Engine Airplanes: Engine Start Up to Shutdown
05/19/20 • 60 min
In this episode Kevin and Rob talk about making the transition from flying single engine airplanes and moving forward with the transition to multi-engine airplanes. Rob shares his experiences with students and some of his own personal stories from his days flying piston twins while flying for a few charter outlets before moving to his current roll as a CRJ 900 pilot. Rob takes the roll as the MEI in this episode and brings us understanding on different areas as we talk about important items that you will face while flying twins. We also talk about what to expect on your check ride and Rob shares a good story and learning experience from one of his part 135 rides.
This is a great episode for those who are currently working on their multi-engine or are thinking of starting the rating. This would also be a good listen for those who have their multi and just want to listen to two cool guys talking about multi-engine flying.
Kevin and the Aztec he did his rating in
This is a must listen episode if you want to hear what the journey from single engine flying to multi-engine flying is really like.
