Dottore = Masculine doctor

Insegnante = Teacher
On those masculine titles that end with 'ore'; the final 'e' is dropped before the person's last name:
Signor Bianchi = Mr. Bianchi
Professor Ricci = Professor Ricci
Feminine titles remain unchanged.
