Fitting in Yet Standing Out
Lentil Soup for the Soul
05/02/24 • 37 min
“If you want to change the world, go home and love your family” Mother Teresa said. This week Neha and Shalini delve into growing up in loving families but not exactly understanding or readily accepting what being part of a family meant. Years of countless trial and errors have resulted in full-circle clarity and wisdom. Shifting the blame barrier from not-at-fault moms, dads, siblings to loving the inner being awakens the deep understanding that familial ties are simply, the ones that bind.
Tune in now to rejoice with them and their discovery of how their families let them fly free to the land where no expectations mattered only to come back fully aware that their lives have much more meaning when tethered to the ones that raised them and embraced them wholeheartedly.
COMMUNITY SHOUT-OUT: This week we are spotlighting Chai Ho Tea. We met Angad Sahgal, an Atlanta-based entrepreneur and the founder of Chai Ho Tea, at Synergies Work nonprofit event. Synergies Work has the largest community of disabled entrepreneurs that are doing amazing work. We are thrilled to taste the Masala Chai blend that Angad sent us and delight in its yummy goodness! Great job Angad for starting Chai Ho - you all please support Angad and Chai Ho tea!
