With Afterlife’s cast returning along with Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts from the originals, the film introduces a new threat in the form of the icy Garraka. Winter is coming for a New York City summer, and it will take multiple generations of Ghostbusters to stop it, in a movie that draws inspiration from The Real Ghostbusters animated series. Curiously missing from streaming nowadays, the film was a major hit when it debuted and is ranked among the best comedies of all time.
