One of the most challenging things in life is to ask for help. We often feel isolated, frustrated and even weak if we show our vulnerabilities. For many of us, not asking for assistance can cause us to do irreversible damage to the ones who love us most.
Today I sit down with (Ret. Army Sergeant and Combat Veteran) Irving Henry Joyner, to discuss his journey into the man he is still becoming. J, as he’s affectionately called, takes us through his early years of being a serious child to how he became a soldier and disciplined family man. Listen, be inspired and gain valuable insight as we have a great conversation centered around growth, impact and personal evolution.
To all the veterans who have served our country near and far, thank you for your service and sacrifice!
