Life And Death Behind Bars. Corrections Officers. Former Corrections Officer Torry Terry is our guest. He discusses the stress and dangers that our corrections officers face on a daily basis. Torry talks about how stress and danger is magnified due to lack of funding which causes an extreme manpower shortage. The overwhelming stress takes a toll on our corrections officers and their families, which Torry brings to the surface during this episode of the show. In addition to his career in corrections Torry talks about the books that he has written, the most recent is “The Locks, Hated On With A Smile”. Firefighter Death In The Line Of Duty, Government Refuses To Pay His Family. E. “Skip” Danielson, a retired Police Chief and career first responder is our guest. In 2016 his son E. Scott Danielson Firefighter - EMS and Warren County Department of Public Safety died in the line of duty. Scott was dispatched to a vehicle accident call that involved his daughter. After handling the call he went into medical distress and died from a major heart attack at the age of 49. Investigations and court proceedings determined that his death was in the line of duty and that his family should receive the appropriate death benefits.
