LAST DAYS - Real Truth

This exhortation points out some of the things to avoid becoming in the last days.

In His dealings with humanity, God's righteous wrath is often the reason why He allows us to go our own way, in order to bring us to an end of ourselves; so that we might see our need for repentance through the power of the gospel. This is brought about by His merciful kindness extended toward us, even while many of us are intentionally living lives of sinful rebellion against His purpose and will for our lives. Such a marvelous truth is to be revered and respected; because one day, His wrath will shift and bring judgment upon all who reject Him.

The struggles of living in the last days are likened in the Scriptures to the pains of a woman in labor, about to bring forth something that has never been before.

From Christ's prophecies and parables on the Mount of Olives, in Matthew 24 and 25, the truth is declared concerning our need to be ready, faithful and serving; with His soon coming return and certain future judgments in mind.

While this may seem to be a brush off at best, it simply is not true in this world of people who love to judge others. However, ultimately in light of the eternal future, it is true for us all. Therefore we would be wise to consider the state of our souls in light of Judgment Day.
