Next on the list of things you thought were unique to you, but they're not and the internet has made up a word to describe it - Hoovering! Never heard of it? Well, it's not peer reviewed or accepted as an official term in psychology, but we're not psychologists or accepted in certain circles either so we consider ourselves the perfect people to discuss it. If you think we're about to talk to you about the loud tool that sometimes helps you get stuff off the floor, you're kind of right. Hoovering is the process by which people in your life can suck you back into unhealthy patterns, regardless of how hard you try to establish and hold boundaries. It's like the old saying goes, you either die a hoover or live long enough to find yourself sucked back in. Apologies in advance for all of the dumping we do in this ep. We're just way too familiar with vacuums.

The bad boys of Christmas past - Krampus
We thought that discussing the half goat half demon holiday horror would stuff the spook in your stocking but instead, Krampus crammed us full of laughter. Our elders have an awful lot to say about the younger generations, but after learning about the stories and fear tactics they created to pass the time and coerce children into being good- we're doubling down on our tiktok dances and memes. I'm not saying we'll never run through the streets in furry costumes, threatening children with bundles of sticks, but we certainly won't be jumping there as quickly as generations past.
