Why did you start this show?
La Montaña Rusa Radio Jazz started broadcasting around 1999, when nobody knew what a podcast would be :). I started doing it because I love Jazz music and I found on that time that there wasn't much radio jazz programs focused just in the music. A lot of talking and jazz theory but I just wanted to listen to good Jazz records, new releases, etc.. not hours of musical theory. That's why I started La Montaña Rusa Radio Jazz in 1999, just music with a few words. And here we still are! :)
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
If you like Jazz music, I think you have to listen to La Montaña Rusa Radio Jazz. From the classics to the new releases, get in a roller coaster jazz trip every week.
What is your vision for your show?
Just have a really good time enjoying Jazz music.

How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
It was a friend of mine who came up with the name and I am still thinking it describes in a perfect way what La Montaña Rusa Radio Jazz is.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I've been doing radio broadcasting since I was 18 years old, love it, it's one of my strong passions. I am very keen in music, mainly Jazz and Rock music. Most of the things that I am doing, has a background music. If you like also Rock music, I have another podcast, brother of La Montaña Rusa Radio Jazz. Its name is La Ruleta Rusa Radio Rock. I love cycling, nature and animals as well.
