0:00 Intros and what we’re into this week
5:15 Spiderman (not) in the MCU, but maybe?
6:48 Universal's Dark Universe
12:15 Battle at Big Rock Jurassic World short film
16:30 Suicide Squad Cast
Episode 3 everyone!!! This time we discuss Spiderman in the MCU. Wait... more like deja MCU AMIRIGHT?
Universal's Dark Universe of monster movies. Another attempt on the heals of Dracula Untold and The Mummy (2017) (not the good one (the Brendon Fraser one(s))). More like deja U AMIRIGHT? (U is for Universal).
Anyway, then we also talk about Battle at Big Rock, a Jurassic World short film. Directed by Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, director; Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, writer) this short takes place shortly after the events of Fallen Kingdom. Is this the future of promotional material? Is this the next "end credit scene"? Next week we will discuss our reactions.
We cap it off with James Gunn's twitter cast dump for Suicide Squad, the seboot to Suicide Squad (2016). How do we feel about the cast list? Who the eff are some of these people? Has Idris Elba ever been in anything good? Will heads explode both on (literally) and off (metaphorically) screen? We only have to wait 2 years to find out. BUT, that won't stop us from talking about it.
Joey's super secret surprise question segment that is always called the same thing: Tune in. It's a deeper question than the others have been. Might require the feelings lightsaber.
Thanks for listening!!!

Episode 23: WandaVision Episodes 7 and 8
Krypton To Alderaan

0:00 Intros and what we’re into
14:10 WandaVision
We at Krypton to Alderaan believe it is important to shed light on bigotry and injustice and to actively participate against it. Recently, a Star Wars castmember was fired due to their ignorance and bigotry. In response, a group of great and wonderful Star Wars fans created a GoFundMe: Trans Rights Are Human Rights: This is the Way to benefit the Transgender Law Center. So far, they have raised over $20,000. To show support to the Trans community, Krypton to Alderaan has made a donation and we encourage anyone out there listening to do the same. To quote the GoFundMe page: “let’s flood the Star Wars community with support, love, and vibrance for all gender identities.”
Episode 23:
This episode we talk about episodes 7 and 8 of Marvel’s new Disney+ series, WandaVision.
In episode 7, we get a great team-up in Vision and Darcy Lewis! And! We learn the Kathryn Hahn’s character Agnes the neighbor is none other than Agatha Harkness! Not only that, but we get the best mini theme song there’s ever been.*
*This opinion does not necessarily reflect those of all Krypton to Alderaan hosts.
How do we feel about that reveal? Is it too late? Does it take away from the magnitude of Wanda’s grief as the catalyst of events? Interesting questions!
In episode 8, we learn that maybe it wasn’t really Agatha all along… We get a deep dive into Wanda’s psyche and tragic past. She has had. It. Rough. Did she always have powers? Is this a retcon? Why is Agatha there? Is this emotionally powerful? Yes. Our answers to all these, and more! Tuen in!
As usual, we have a surprise question - so stick around until the end!
Thanks for listening!

0:55 What we’re into this week
12:13 X-Men Intro
13:34 New Mutants
24:18 Doctor Strange 2
26:38 WandaVision
27:22 Captain Marvel 2
29:40 Open Discussion: X-Men into the MCU
Episode 14:
This episode we talk about ways that the X-Men could be introduced into the MCU.
First up, we discuss The New Mutants - a movie that has been on hold since 2018 and just got its second trailer last month. Unfortunately, as of now this will not tie in to the MCU. We review both trailers and talk about what we think and if we think we’ll like it/see it.
Next up, there are many, many options for bringing the X-Men into the MCU. We discuss a few rumors circulating as well as a few likely scenarios.
UP FRONT!!! - Joey would like to make it clear that he meant 20th Century Fox!!! He knows that Disney DID NOT buy Sony (yet) and he is deeply saddened for spreading fake news and even more deeply saddened for the nerd cred that he might have lost.
The Krypton to Alderaan team discuss how the X-Men could be or are rumored to be introduced in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, WandaVision, and/or Captain Marvel 2. Will Doctor Strange run into alternate versions of Professor X as he’s going through the multiverse? Will he form the Illuminati? Has Wanda ripped a hole in space and time, allowing different dimensions access to one-another? Will we go back to Rogue’s roots by introducing her as a villain in Captain Marvel? Or, did the “Un-Snap” create an opportunity for these characters to manifest?
We go over all these alternatives, AND MORE. Including the unfortunate rumor that Henry Cavill will be cast as Wolverine… Spoiler alert - none of us are on board with this.
This week, two surprise questions! Let us know your answers!

Episode 11:
We’re back! Happy holidays to everyone!!! After a couple of weeks off enjoying the holiday season and seeing The Rise of Skywalker twice, Krypton to Alderaan is back and ready to yell about Star Wars.
*SPOILER ALERT* for the Mandalorian and The Rise of Skywalker
This episode we talk about:
The Mandalorian Episodes 7 (The Reckoning) and 8 (Redemption)
AND
Our thoughts, opinions, and levels of satisfaction regarding The Rise of Skywalker.
We breeze through The Mandalorian in order to get to Rise. Overall, we loved the show and baby yoda. Season two is set to not disappoint with season one answering some questions, but asking so many others. Yoda home world?! Moff Gideon, bad guy? Or maybe good guy? The Dark Saber lives.
The Rise of Skywalker
We play some good cop, bad cop with the film. We discuss our likes, dislikes, and our levels of satisfaction. Did it live up to the hype of a triple trilogy-ending film? Did it live up to our expectations (as discussed in Episode 10)? Is it a huge relief that it’s over and now we can get something new?
All these questions answered, and more! Including a surprise question.
Thanks for listening!

12:47 Battle At Big Rock Discussion Pt. 2
20:48 CW’s Arrowverse’s Crossover News
Episode 4. What a wild ride.
So many things this week!!! Birthdays: Royce’s and Batman’s.
Battle Star Galactica reboot. ReBot. ReCylon. We discuss our varying familiarity with the show(s). What we thought of the past iterations and speculate on what this next thing could be. WHO’S A CYLON?!?!? Available only on Peacock…. So, there’s that.
Anyway, then we also talk about Battle at Big Rock again! Camping! with dinosaurs. The crazy SOBs did it. Family camping trip gone wrong? Or dinosaur dinner interrupted by humanity? Who can decide. We go through our opinions on the short from story points to CGI.
And then.
Joey entices the group.
With a drawn out intro into the last talking point.
And everyone loves it.
This years CW’s Arrowverse crossover news. The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event will be featuring Tom Welling and Erica Durance reprising their Smallville roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, respectively. THE EXCITEMENT OF THIS CANNOT BE CONTAINED. Joey regales the group with tales of his love for Smallville. He also gives brief and clumsy description of Crisis on Infinite Earths, the DC comic book event that is the inspiration of this years television crossover event. More on that to come!

22:00 “I hope you all are into this” On screen representations of the Joker
Episode 5:
It has been two weeks since our last episode! Also, this will be the way we do things now. Fear not, we will still be providing the wonderful content that you know and love.
This episode we breeze through some news. Well, we try to breeze through it until we get to the star wars stuff.
Photo release of Brandon Routh in his Kingdom Come Superman suit. It looks dope, check it out.
Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neil returning for the Jurassic World sequel! Nostalgia abounds! Last we saw Laura Dern, she was on the phone with Sam Neil as he was shouting “THE RIVER!” Then she managed to send help to that exact river with no other geographical clues.
Kevin Feige on Star Wars. Phew, there’s a lot to unpack there - you’ll have to listen.
But ANYWAY, then the group goes through every cinematic representation of the Joker. From Cesar Romero to Jared Leto, who’s done it best, who’s done it worst. Is the role cursed? Why is Jared Leto so gross? Did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? We go through them all and discuss what they mean to us.
Joey's super secret surprise question segment that is always called the same thing: It’s Batman related.

4:18 What we’re into this week: Binge Recommendations from Royce and Robin’s Couch
12:18 Clone Wars Season 7 Trailer
20:20 Trevorrow’s Version of Episode 9
30:00 Obi Wan Trouble
Episode 12:
Hello, we’re back! AGAIN!
This episode we talk about:
Our new favorite segment: Royce and Robin got a couch. Every week we’ll discuss something new they’ve binged from the new couch. JUST KIDDING. We go over what has been suggested on Instagram as currently bingeworthy. We then go over how all of the suggestions pale in comparison to The Clone Wars.
Speaking of the Clone Wars *seamless transition* we discuss what we think about the new trailer for the final season. Additionally Joey attempts to convince the other hosts to JUST SHUT UP AND WATCH IT ALREADY. Anyway, it looks awesome. Maybe watch the trailer and then listen to us talk about it.
Up next is the Colin Trevorrow Duel of The Fates script and concept art. Art looks cool and Monday morning quarterbacking is always fun. But is anything good? We discuss the alternate universe where this got made and Rise did not. The main question is: will people be taking to the internet demanding #releasethetrevorrowcut?
Obi Wan. More like Uh Oh Wan. Obi Whaaaaa. Oh geeze Wan. Anyway, there’s trouble. The show is “on hold” (maybe “indefinitely”) while Disney searches for a new writer. We discuss Star Wars’s past with these sorts of changes and how it’s worked out (*tug at shirt collar*) in the past. After the success of The Mandalorian, we have/had high hopes for this show. But is our confidence fading? Tune in to find out!!!
It’s a surprise who asks the surprise question this week.
