Shanna Hafemann proves that "the only normal people you know are the ones you don't know very well".

Shanna was born in Des Moines, Iowa (Go Hawkeyes) and moved around a bit in her childhood before her family settled in Montana. And after a back and forth from homeschool to public school, she began taking college courses at Rocky Mountain College as a high schooler. From here, our interview dances around the timeline as Shanna shares what matters to her about her faith, her finished education, her mental health journey, and her passion for teaching music. After growing up in small town Montana, Nathan began pushing the boundaries of his upbringing in college, getting into dangerous territory with hard drug use that would eventually claim his brother's life. After grappling with grief and continued drug use, Nathan sought treatment and is now in recovery, proudly sober for over a year. He has since fashioned a new life for himself around yoga, meditation, and self-discovery aided by psychedelics. Nathan uses the inspiration he draws from these experiences to craft his custom jewelry as an entrepreneurial venture! We learned so much from Nathan!
